The hotel has chambers across multiple buildings. We stayed one night in the building where the pool and spa are and where breakfast is served. The room was not very big, but clean and it was quiet. Staff was friendly and breakfast delicious!

We stayed here for one night on a walking trip through the Ardennes. We were a bit scruffy for this rather posh hotel with our rucksacks and muddy boots, but the staff made us feel welcome. The restaurant looked excellent, but rather too expensive for us, so we ate at the nearby Byrthem. Breakfast was good, although rather expensive again. Our room was fine, but there was broken glass on the floor which cut my foot, so not exactly very clean.

We were there after a special gift include a gastronomic dinner and a day with a Vespa motorcycles. The dinner with 6 wonderful plates was excellent. Staff and organization perfect. The place is perfect to discover the beautiful area. The stay was so lovely that we want to stay one night more but the hotel was fully booked. My only issue.....

I have visited this place a few times now, not staying more then one or 2 nights at a time.
All rooms have been recently renovated and look very fresh with good bed and ( in the main building) a lovely shower. The swimming pool is pretty basic and could use renovation and is sometimes rented out to give swimming lessons to kids from the nearby school.

We went there for 2 things, the lovely countryside and the nice walks in the neighborhood and for Le Beau Sejours lovely quisine. The restaurant is very clean and has seen some redecoration in the salon, not that it really needed that.

The chef always succeeds to put out great, tasteful dishes that are in my view close to those served in a star restaurant. the wine that accompanies the dish ( if you take the all in menu ) is of a very good quality and they aren't cheap on filling up your glass ( this is the main reason why we spend the night :-)

Room Tip: ask for a room in the main building

Regarding the facilities/hotel, I agree with FreidaBrussels: this place is nothing like the website. The bed was comfortable but otherwise the room was poor. The hallway leading to the room had an old and stained carpet, the shower had no curtain and nothing to fix the shower handle. There were no facilities for making tea or coffee. For some reason the room was uncomfortably warm, even though the radiator was off.

Most disappointing was the bewildering unfriendliness of the staff. I was assured at the time of booking that the hotel has wifi. When I arrived I was able to connect to the local wifi but not to the internet with either of my devices (phone/laptop). I called reception and was quite litteraly told "It works perfectly well for me. Good night"! No attempt to fix the problem, no offer to come to the reception area where presumably the connection was working, no apology.

Upon arrival, around 9 p.m., the staff appeared to be at great pains to make sure I didn't venture beyond the tiny reception room into the dining area and bar. My enquiries about what time the restaurant would close were met, again verbatim, with "I don't know, but it's probably fully booked". Upon checking out I asked if there was an area to have a coffee before leaving but was again told "no, because we're expecting a larger group".

In short, this was the kind of hostile reception one would expect in a low end Paris hotel, but thoroughly shocking to find this in a small otherwise friendly country village.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

We stayed in this hotel for a romantic and refreshing break and got what we wanted out of it. The village of Nassogne is very pretty and thre are plenty of walks to do. The hotel is very charming and full of caractere. It'sa family run business and you can see they are trying hard to make the best out of the place. The cheapest rooms - 85 euros in low season - are spacious but the decoration could be improved. We enjoyed a fancy meal in a very nice setting and good service. The breakfast is served in another buildlng, with plenty of light and airiness. The swimming pool is warm and definitely a huge plus to the place. However, the spa treatements are not provided in the hotel but 50 meters away. We would have liked to have the internet for free.

We stayed at the Beau Sejour for a weekend in July. After checking out the web site, was looking forward to staying in what I thought would be a charming hotel set in a garden. The web site is very misleading. The hotel gardens are small and not well kept, the swimming pool is unattractive - brick walls and claustrophobic. We stayed in a 'chambre parquet' supposedly one of the better rooms - it was simple and clean but certainly nothing to write home about and the bathroom was old with grungy towels. Breakfast was not good - took over 30 minutes to get a terrible coffee the first morning, the fruit salad was poor, the fresh fruit wasn't ripe - only thing worth eating were the croissants and the bread. And to top it all off, service was, in my opinion, very poor even verging on the rude from most of the staff we came across. Very disappointing.
