“My favourite restaurant!”
Reviewed 22 May 2010

Julia, John and staff welcome you from the start into the restaurant. The staff can't do enough for you. The menu is wide and varied and they are very accomodating for vegetarians.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Excellent quality, delicious food and fantastic ambiance, what more could you want.

“A complete delight!”
Reviewed 6 March 2010

The Leatherne Bottel really is a complete delight.
Located in an ideal position overlooking the Thames and open countryside, the place itself has character and charm whether sat out on the decking enjoying the views and sunshine in the summer or in the comfortable orangery and reception area with log burning stove in the colder months.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive.
There is a choice of menus to suit every taste and pocket from the affordable luxury lunch to the tasting menu with wines. The food is always beautifully presented and delicious.
The wine list is exceptional, personally chosen by the Restaurant Director John. In addition to wines you will recognise, there are others from specialist vineyards and John is always happy to be invited to share his knowledge of the wines with his guests.
I have had a thoroughly enjoyable experience every time I have dined at The Leatherne Bottel and intend to have many more.
It is advisable to book well in advance now though as their well deserved reputation is spreading and their limited number of tables get booked up very quickly!
Mmmm, perhaps I shouldn’t have told you .........
