My wife and I took her mother on her first vacation overseas. We had decided that a stay in a vacation cottage would fit the bill quite nicely.
We foound Winterberry Cottage here on Trip Advisor and decided that id was what we were looking for.
We were not dissapointed with the decision. It was the perfect mix of old world charm and modern conveniences. The cottage was comfortable, spacious and well appointed. No phones and spotty cell service was an actual blessing as it let us escape the daily interuptions.
The location was perfect as it was close enough to Cirencester for shopping etc but far enough away to not be hampered by traffic and noise. It was centrally located to most of the sites we wanted to see in the Cotswolds.
The owners were very responsive to any needs that may have arisen and were very accomodating.
Even on wet days (of which there were very few) it was a cosy nook.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Winterberry Cottage during a weekend break with my wife, newborn son and my parents. The house is ideally situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, a short drive from villages of Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, 'The Slaughters' and Bibury. The cottage itself was very well appointed, beautifully decorated and was a tasteful mixture of classic yet modern appointments. If you are looking for a luxuriously abode that offers a homely feel in a great locations for visiting the Cotswolds then look no further.
