We'd booked the Five Alls for a Friday night, as a base to visit Kelmscott Manor - a special treat as it was close to our wedding anniversary. We were shown to Room 1, probably the largest and - like the whole place - it's beautifully decorated, with up-market prints, fabrics and furnishings. The bed was large: very soft and deep. We had a modest flatscreen TV to watch, plenty of space for our luggage, but (as other reviews have noted) no tea and coffee making facilities. We did have mineral water and proper (glass) tumblers. Also there's no wardrobe, but a decent-enough coat rack to hang stuff on. The bathroom was super, featuring designer handbasin and toilet, and a super shower. The toiletries were botanical with no chemicals that could impact on allergies. I don't blame the owners for for displaying a notice requesting guests not to steal them.
We had a super dinner, proper gastropub, with excellent wines at reasonable prices. Starters came very quickly, but we then had a long wait for the main course. It's hard to tell whether this was because the kitchen was very busy (it was), or the waiting staff somewhat clueless (they were). The delay was amply compensated by a bottle of wine on the house.
Breakfast was not the best we've had. We could select any items from a menu, so didn't have to have the full english. I had smoked salmon & scrambled egg (pretty good), while my wife got poached eggs (hard), bacon (cremated) and somewhat tasteless black pudding. Shame.
I'd suggest they invest in some cafetieres for breakfast, instead of bringing individual cups on a tray. Our server admitted to being "the worst coffee carrier in the world".
All in all a good experience, and - unlike David Cameron, whose photo and letter of thanks adorns the bar - we'd certainly come back to the Five Alls.
