Although I hate to share this with you as the popularity will increase even more I went to the Five Alls last night for a meal and it was absolutely excellent. The food was out of this world the service fantastic and overall we had a wonderful experience will be going there again very soon!

Popped in here for lunch after being recommended by a friend. We had a wonderful meal. The salmon minute steak with samphire was particularly awesome - God knows how this place hasn't got a Michelin star yet

Lovely location, property, and hospitable owners and staff, this is a little gem hidden away in the Cotswolds, make sure you stay and enjoy the menu and wine! Proper gastro pub and bedrooms... Gorgeous village hidden away from the World...

The room was a good size but there is no dressing table or desk and no coffee making facilities.
there is no air-conditioning and only a small window. No fan. The wardrobe is difficult to get to.
The staff are welcoming and I had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent although a bit pricey to what I am used to for a Pub Restaurant.
I left early 7.00 on my first morning and breakfast does not start till 0800. I was away by 0700 when I finally managed to get out as no one was around and all the doors locked. This being my first time at this Inn.
The meal on the second night was also up to the standard.
If the room had Tea and Coffee making facilities along with a dressing table or desk it would be 4 star.

We'd booked the Five Alls for a Friday night, as a base to visit Kelmscott Manor - a special treat as it was close to our wedding anniversary. We were shown to Room 1, probably the largest and - like the whole place - it's beautifully decorated, with up-market prints, fabrics and furnishings. The bed was large: very soft and deep. We had a modest flatscreen TV to watch, plenty of space for our luggage, but (as other reviews have noted) no tea and coffee making facilities. We did have mineral water and proper (glass) tumblers. Also there's no wardrobe, but a decent-enough coat rack to hang stuff on. The bathroom was super, featuring designer handbasin and toilet, and a super shower. The toiletries were botanical with no chemicals that could impact on allergies. I don't blame the owners for for displaying a notice requesting guests not to steal them.

We had a super dinner, proper gastropub, with excellent wines at reasonable prices. Starters came very quickly, but we then had a long wait for the main course. It's hard to tell whether this was because the kitchen was very busy (it was), or the waiting staff somewhat clueless (they were). The delay was amply compensated by a bottle of wine on the house.

Breakfast was not the best we've had. We could select any items from a menu, so didn't have to have the full english. I had smoked salmon & scrambled egg (pretty good), while my wife got poached eggs (hard), bacon (cremated) and somewhat tasteless black pudding. Shame.

I'd suggest they invest in some cafetieres for breakfast, instead of bringing individual cups on a tray. Our server admitted to being "the worst coffee carrier in the world".

All in all a good experience, and - unlike David Cameron, whose photo and letter of thanks adorns the bar - we'd certainly come back to the Five Alls.

Had a fantastic meal for my Birthday, Beautifully presented food, The bread on the tables at the beginning tastes so nice. The puddings are to die for, I had the lemon tart which is the best dessert that I have had. Service and atmosphere really nice. Do try the house red wine from Romania, excellent really smooth. I look forward to being taken back there again!

We stayed here for two nights to help celebrate a friend's birthday.

We had the room with the low door (very tall people beware - a source of amusement as my partner was the tallest person amongst our party!!) which was cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was great with a large walk-in shower and lovely toiletries.
The only slight disappointment was the lack of tea and coffee-making facilities in the room - you have to order drinks from the bar which you can then take upstairs, which is fine during the day/evening - but we would have preferred to be able to brew an early morning cup of tea/coffee to help us wake up in bed before going down for brekky.

We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night and the food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is obviously popular with the locals.

We had a slightly strange experience during breakfast one morning where the staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing - but we had different (and much better!) serving staff the following morning so perhaps the weekend staff hadn't got to grips with breakfast arrangements?!

Overall, the B&B was average value for money. The restaurant menu wasn't cheap, but the prices felt appropriate given the excellent food.

Would definitely recommend to others, but perhaps more for the restaurant than the B&B.
