“Plum Tree Cottage is a little gem”
Reviewed 4 weeks ago for a stay in July 2018

This lovely cottage is set very quietly in Lechlade, but within easy walking distance of local shops, varied eateries and tourist attractions. The Old Ironmongers and the Christmas Shop deserve a mention, as does the church and river walks. Thank you Janet for all the thoughtful extras provided, chocs too! Highly recommended.

“Beautiful, comfortable cottage in a sweet Cotswolds town”
Reviewed 16 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We were delighted with our stay in Janet's Plum Tree Cottage. Everything was perfect, the place was clean and obviously well looked after, the beds were comfortable, the garden was lovely. But there were lots of little extra's that really impressed us, like fresh flowers on our arrival, and milk and jams to keep us going. Lechlade is a laid back town on the Thames, perfect for walking, boating, or as a base for driving around the area. Good pubs and cafes are a stones throw away from the cottage, you have everything you need. Would highly recommend

“Cosy delightful cottage”
Reviewed 3 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed at Rose Cottage Lechlade on Thames for seven days. The cottage is in a pretty Cotswold village with local shops and and pleasant walks nearby. The local butcher has excellent pies and first rate steaks. The cottage is warm and cosy with a little sun trap of a garden during the day. It's well equipped and has a nice comfortable bed.
We would certainly stay there again.

“Fabulous Cosy Cotswold Cottage”

Just back from a week at Plum Tree Cottage at the end of Sept. The cottage is a lovely cosy cottage with exceptional facilities within. Janet's detail in the co-ordinated upholstery and finishings just makes the cottage feel that bit more homely too. We loved our stay here, and made the most of the cottage being within walking distance of Lechalde high street, which was perfect for popping to the butchers (Cutler & Bayliss) for eggs, bacon & sausages or to one of the local eateries for dinner in the evenings, but also were able to stay in & cook a couple of evenings with the log burner blazing away in the corner. Can't wait to come back again.

“Great little cottage close to facilities on the edge of the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 1 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely clean snug and cosy cottage for 2/3. Comfy sofas and great bedding and bed linen. Everything you could think of needing for a weeks break. Stayed for just the Bank Holiday weekend whilst visiting family but will definitely be back.

“Great stay!”
Reviewed 20 February 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Cute little cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds. Cottage itself was a good size and well equipped. Some nice extras provided by the host too! Good DVD player and small selection of games and books to keep you occupied! Well located, close to the small high street that had a good selection of shops and restaurants. Would definitely go back again!
