“If you like steak go here for the best value.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

h eonly downside to this resaurant is that you nearly always have to book. It caters mainly for Spanish, but an evergrowing number of British and other nationalities are eating there. This helps the restaurant as most of eat earier than the Spanish and now they can sometime get more people in than before if you don't mind leaving by say 9.00pm! Food? This is fantasic value but be careful about the quantity. Even starters are generous. A house salad - Enslada de la Casa - is more than one person would normally eat, as are most of the starters. We usually have say two starters between four of us - para el centro - in the middle of the table to share The steaks are huge The T-bone must be nearly a kilo and if you have fillet, you get two for about €12.00. Even fish is really good. A large Turbot is around €14.00. As with most Spanish meals you get little veg. so do have the salad or other vegetable starter if you need that. Good wines are at decent prices as well.
This is not a posh or up market restaurant. It is just an ordinary local place to eat with good food, reasonable service and great prices.

“steaks to die for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2012

booking a must.. good spanish atmosphere...we found the service speedy and very pleasant staff...who properly expressed their gratitude for the tip.

Few chips or veg on plate ...but size of steaks leaves little room anyway.....dont eat at home on day of your visit !!

Large tuna side salad for four fresh and tasty... reasonable priced red wine very palatable..

Arrived at 1400 hrs and found restuarant full of spanish people , business men and others all having full meals not just coffee.

A very enjoyable experience...great value for money meals...if you dont have the T-bone try the double piece of fillet..you wont believe the size.

I would recommend this restuarant to everybody.

“THE BEST PLACE IN TOWN”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2011

After being there several times we decided to take some friends that were over and they were blown out with the food. Some of the reviews state not good service of which I can agree and not happy people, but the food makes up for it all. The sea food is fab!!
You must book weeks in advance so be warned especially during the peak season.
