h eonly downside to this resaurant is that you nearly always have to book. It caters mainly for Spanish, but an evergrowing number of British and other nationalities are eating there. This helps the restaurant as most of eat earier than the Spanish and now they can sometime get more people in than before if you don't mind leaving by say 9.00pm! Food? This is fantasic value but be careful about the quantity. Even starters are generous. A house salad - Enslada de la Casa - is more than one person would normally eat, as are most of the starters. We usually have say two starters between four of us - para el centro - in the middle of the table to share The steaks are huge The T-bone must be nearly a kilo and if you have fillet, you get two for about €12.00. Even fish is really good. A large Turbot is around €14.00. As with most Spanish meals you get little veg. so do have the salad or other vegetable starter if you need that. Good wines are at decent prices as well.
This is not a posh or up market restaurant. It is just an ordinary local place to eat with good food, reasonable service and great prices.
