“Good course but.....”

Played a 4 balls with friends, all low handicaps. The course is really good, layout offers a good challenge with many ways to play par 4 from driver off the tee to 4 & 3 irons, greens were in great condition not to say the best in the region and I am leaving here all year round. But as usual with Lo Romero the staff, I mean few guys riding around on the course are always pushing players to play faster with no objective reasons. This time we couldn't accept this attitude and told this guy that reaching the 10th hole in 2 hours and 5 minutes was fast. They will need to improve a lot their commercial attitude to keep being one of the best course of the Murcia region.

28 members of our society visited this course as part of a 3 day event. From the 2nd hole we were constantly harassed and hrangued by the course marshalls to play faster. They were intimidating rude and threatening ,one of the marshall's swore at one of our members telling him you are pi...ss..ng me off and constantly saying if you dont play faster i will make you miss holes Everyone in our group agreed that we should never revisit the golf complex due to the poor attitude of the staff
The course itself is good to play with a nice finishing hole, the facilities are very poor with a few wooden building which make up the club house

Nice course and good greens. played in a pair but had to have another pairing with us as they had over booked the tee time, however had use of a buggy, and enjoyed. need sun hat or lots of hair... very hot in sun. good value.

We played this course in the beginning of September 2013. We made a tee time reservation via a well known intermediary at 08.00. Arriving at the golf club at 07.40 the reception was still closed. After opening at 07.50 we were told that the payment of the intermediary organisation (which is collaborating with Lo Romero for almost 10 yrs) could not be validated. After waiting for over 1.5 hours at the reception, without any drink, excuse or whatsoever, Lo Romero found out that they made a mistake and that the payment could be validated after all! Due to this delay our two-ball flight from 08.00 now became a three ball flight at 09.30. Placed between two fourballs our round now took 5 hours, instead for the normal aprrox 4 hours. The afternoon plans had to be cancelled as a result of this total delay of 2.5 hours. The terrible service level if the staff could not be compensated by the course as it did not offer any spectacular views or beautiful holes apart from its signature hole 18. The speed of the greens was ok, but the pitchmarks revealed its poor condition. Furthermore the faculties are terrible (dirty toilets, poor dressingrooms, a clubhouse looking like a camping bar with no decent restaurant) . Since there are a lot of splendid courses in the neighbourhood (e.g. Las Colinas) offering spectacular views, quality service and a course in mint condition, we highly recommend avoiding this course!

The husbands played and achieved a great deal with 2 buggies which were necessary in the hot sun. They have played here before and go back again and again. Great value.
