We where delayed by 4 or 5 hours arriving, but the lady (Carol) who gave us the keys had kept an eye on the flight no and was very patient even when we had trouble with the car.
The apartment was very well laid out and had everything you'd expect and more. Location by the old harbour was good and views from roof top excellent.Had a really great week dispite the weather on some days.

“Very cosy apartment in centre of village”
Reviewed 23 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

This is a great apartment and you are very aware it is also someone's home, giving it a very welcoming feel. Little things like having the use of the windbreak, sun umbrella, cool box and beach chairs are the extras that tip the balance. Very well equipped, has a proper oven (which Spanish owned hotel apartment blocks sometimes do not), lots of space to store your stuff, parking right outside, very clean, immaculately maintained, incredibly reasonably priced, lovely owners to deal with and in one of the loveliest villages. Astra satellite tv just not worth having, but there were lots of dvds, cds and books. Much as we loved it, we probably will try another apartment next time because we missed having a balcony - there is a roof terrace, but you have to go outside the apartment to access it. But would recommend Casa Esquina to anyone.

Liked best: location right in the heart of the village
Liked least: Ground floor situation made us reluctant to have the window open at night and no terrace.

“A fantastic place to stay”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We booked this apartment after a quick search on the internet for somewhere in Fuerteventura. Having never been to the island before we took a chance on El Cotillo as it was described as a fishing village. We were not disappointed and Casa Esquina was ideally located just a short walk up the hill from the old harbour and the wonderful restaurants and bars overlooking the sea. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, ideal for two people but would still be comfortable for 4 as it has 2 double bedrooms. The roof terrace was not suitable for eating outside as it has a separate entrance but was comfortable for reading a book or just relaxing.
We loved Cafe Centrale and had several meals at Vaca Azul, both having wonderful views over the sea which was wild when we were there and the crashing waves were quite spectacular. We had a hire car, which is essential if you want to see the rest of the island or do any walking away from El Cotillo, such as the nearby volcano walk. Betancuria is well worth a visit and the photographic display is a must - wonderful scenic photos of the island and wildlife taken in different lights, early morning, full sun and at sundown. We thought Lanzarote was wild and stark but Fuerteventura is probably even more so.

“Great Apartment in the middle of El Cotillo”
Reviewed 16 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Loved staying at Casa Esquina, fantastic location right next to the old harbour and its restaurants and bars, with the new harbour a couple of minutes walk. If anything ever happened in Cotillo it would happen on your doorstep if you stayed here, fortunately I don't think much does happen in Cotillo which is why its such a relaxing place for a holiday!

Apartment has everything you could want, as well as its fantastic position it is bright, easily spacious enough for 3, well equipped kitchen (not that we used it much), nice bathroom with loads of hot water in the nice shower, and lots of extra bits that were useful such as a parasol and windbreak, and even a boules set and a few games

Its about 10-15 minutes walk or a few minutes drive to get to the fantastic lagoons/beaches area of Cotillo - if your looking for somewhere to stay and not bothered about being this far from the beaches I would recommend Casa Esquina

“A relaxing quiet break away from it all”
Reviewed 14 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday in a beautiful spot with lots of very good restaurants (some of the best are overlooking the harbour) and a few good shops El Cotillo is the place. We had sunshine every day whilst storms raged at home.

Loved the location of Casa Esquina. Also liked the kitchen/diner/sitting room. Didn't find the bed 100% comfortable (a little hard, don't like plastic coated mattress protectors and could do with a summer quilt instead of blankets in winter) but still felt very much at home in this bright, clean apartment. Lovely shower and bath. Single room has double bed. Lots of very helpful books (including the visitors book with it's restaurant recommendations) and cooking equipment. Roof terrace is accessed by a separate entrance so not convenient for eating outside but wonderful for Yoga and relaxing. Had it all to myself every time I used it...wonderful views from here and all you can hear is bird song and surf.

All in all the apartment and El Cotillo are excellent value for money and we had the most relaxing holiday ever. Absolute bliss!!!!! We'll be back.

Everything was perfect! The Flat was at a nic location, well equipped and clean, with a terrace with a gray view over the village and the ocean.
