This has one of the lowest prices in the Stockholm. Cost almost liak a hostel with full hotel service and breakfast included. If you have your own car parking is free. Close to large shopping centers. Not the best if you want to be a tourist without car since bus and undergroudn takes long time

Located miles away from anywhere in an industrial estate. States it is 4km from the conference centre but it is 8km. I had a cabin room, 8ft x 6ft with no window. The television had no channels programmed in. On the first day the electricity in my room went so I informed reception. After fitting a new fuse the electricity was fine for an hour but then went again. I had no power for 24hours so was unable to charge my phone or have any light to read my book etc. I had to wedge my door open with a chair to see anything. The hotel manager refused to give me a different room. I had no choice but to stay (everywhere else booked or way out of my budget). After some discussion the receptionist located another room which had a working light and power point so I was moved. I was planning on getting some candles. The shower cubicle is shared between a whole floor and you have to wade through 2 inches of cold water with hair balls etc floating in it. I won't even mention the toilet. Once I was moved it was ok and the breakfast is fine. I was moved to the 6th floor where the bathroom/toilet is shared between about 8 rooms so it was much better. The reception staff were great but they are really up against it with no support from the management. I have been all over the world staying in over 100 different places and I have never bothered to leave a review no matter how bad it was as I usually can't be bothered or just get on with it. This however was a different level.

Room Tip: Get a room with electricity or a window to ensure some light.

It is hard to find a cheap hotel central in Stockholm, so I searched around in the suburbs. And found a single room in Hotell Månen ("The Moon") at a special price. Very cheap, actually... under 300 SEK to be honest - around half the normal price.
Being familiar with south of Stockholm I knew Månen, but only from the outside, situated in a industrial area. The hotel is a former office building.
With that price, my expectations were low. But the room was clearly better than so. Some of the rooms (1 out of four?) is on the inside – so no window. But fresh and spacey enough. It even had a shower and wc, although it was stated that this budget room only had shared wc and shower.
The staff was friendly, the breakfast fine. Overall a clearly decent hotel at a good price.

One word of how to find it, though - it is by no means problematic, but if you are unfamiliar with the area it could be slighly tricky.
If you drive by car it is close to the Highway E20 south of Stockholm, but you won't see it from the road. You have to get in to the industrial area "Kungens kurva södra (south)".
With public transport you take the red Underground southbound, to station Skärholmen (around 20 min from city), then blue bus 173 (just to the left from the metro exit) another 10-15 minutes. It stops just outside the hotel.
A short walk from the hotel is "Heron City", with a few shops, a number of restaurants, bowling and cinema.
In Skärholmen there is a fairly big shopping mall.

Room Tip: Look for special price occasions. :-) Especially the "inside" rooms may be cheap. (Rooms w...

Stopped over here with 2 other adults and a child when driving up through Sweden.

The accommodation is not very central, nor it is it very near any metro station, however it is right next to the world's biggest Ikea and the Heron City shopping centre and gives easy access to all the surrounding motorways.

It has lots of free parking, so if you come to Stockholm by car, this place should be ideal for you.

Our family room was actually two very large rooms and the decor was new and fresh and it was very peaceful. The room had free Wi-Fi, you just need to get a code from the reception.

We had to leave for a ferry early in the morning before breakfast was served, but the receptionist was able to provide us with some food to take away for our trip.

All Choice and Scandic hotels were SEK 1.000+ for the night we needed hotel rooms so when we found a double room for 695 our expectations were moderate.
We got a big room with free wifi connection and even our little dog was welcomed free of charge. The breakfast was better than we expected for the price, too. Personel very friendly. Free parking. The hotel is very close to 'the worlds biggest Ikea' and shopping and entertainment center Heron City with movie theatre, restaurants, sportsbar etc. All in all good value for money
