We stayed here for the Le Mans Classic race of 2008 and it was wonderful. The facilities are A1, gardens are lovely, clean pool (which, sadly, we didn't get to use), tennis court and ample parking. The town of Sable-sur-Sarthe is nearby, has all the necessary facilities and has a fantastic brasserie (amongst other food options). It is also about 45 minutes from the Le Mans circuit and a similar distance from Angers - which is a lovely town too. Site-seeing-wise, it is also a surrounded by stunning beauty spots and chateaus.

The place itself is a stunning period building, immaculately restored and beautifully furnished. The owners are lovely, lovely people and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Côté PARC, which has lovely rustic shutters and pretty antique wooden furniture and bed. There is a traditional fireplace and the bathroom has a cute slit window, south facing, which gives you beautiful views of the village church on a distant hill while you soak in the tub. Our friend stayed in La ROMANTIQUE, which is a huge, wood-floored (if memory serves) room in one of the out-buildings, with a cute, wood-paneled bathroom and "shabby-chic" style furniture with a big bed.

Breakfasts were generous and tasty. They will also provide dinner (at around 30 Euro/head) which is both convenient and very tasty!

Cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely return for a nice break at some point in the future.
