“Great service”
Reviewed 28 January 2014

Ate here three times, as this place seems to always be open! We found the service to be attentive and friendly. We ate mainly fish (although my partner did have chicken one day) which was fresh and tasty. I had the ceviche on one occasion and highly recommend it. The mixed vegetables were also surprisingly good (fresh)

“Great food and Service”
Reviewed 16 January 2014

The service. My wife is allergic to fish and seafood which caused problems given that the menus on Easter Island are dominated by these (not surprising 2000 miles from the nearest land) but they provided an excellent meal for her the first time we ate here and again when we went back. Good atmosphere also.

“Simple good food”
Reviewed 22 November 2013 via mobile

Visited this unpretentious restaurant on the advice of hotel receptionist. Local fish fried in a light batter was solid, meaty, tasty stuff. The barbeque sauce with which it came was surprisingly apt for the dish. Fried sweet potato slices were crisp without being dry and sauteed vegetables were varied and plentiful. This was simple but imaginative food helpfully and quite speedily served with a desire to please. The restaurant occupies a covered terrace which can be draughty if there is a wind.
Food prices did not shock although the wine tariff did. Visitors here have to realise that most goods have to be shipped for 10 days from Chile.
Price for two including desserts, a beer and a glass of wine came in at 52,000 pesos (about £65).

“best steak ever”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

We ate here twice and were delighted with the meal each time. Great fish but also the best steak ever and pretty good value.

“There are far better places”
Reviewed 8 November 2013

We stay on Easter Island for a week and had the opportunity to try many restaurants. In our week's worth of sampling, my SO and I both concluded that this was by far our worst meal. The fish was very overdone to the point where it was tough. The appetizers were pieces of fried bread dough - not my idea of fine food, anyway. The drinks were overpriced and service was slow. But if you like to join large tour groups, this might be a good place for you. Our server was very friendly but had too many customers on his hands. We had much better meals at Manuia, Te Moania and BonBon Chinois
