On our arrival at the Bath Arms we were greated by the recepionist with a warm friendly smile and an eagerness to help us settle into our room. The food was realy good and served with a smile, That night i asked the manager who,s name is Paulo if he could do something special for me as the saturday night was our first wedding anniversary, in his own time he arranged for flowers and a card signed by all the staff to be placed on our table for the evening meal. this was a supprise to both of us and made the evening and our 3 day stay realy special, all the staff are great the hotel is warm and friendly cosy not showy, a good location to see and do lots in the area, my wife and myself agree this is our wedding anniversary get away place every year, look forward to returning next year, thanks to all the staff for a great stay.

Thanks for such a glowing review of The Bath Arms, it was a pleasure to look after you both for your first anniversary! The team are so pleased you chose us to help you celebrate such an occasion - it was no trouble at all to go the extra mile and make it extra special for you. We hope to see you both again soon, hopefully before your next anniversary!

My family and I went to the Bath Arms in Horningsham on the 29th August to celebrate my birthday and what an excellent choice it was.
We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel very welcome ,the service was excellent and the food was a treat for our taste buds.
The soup for starters was divine and what followed was a main meal of succulent meats and well cooked vegetables, the food was beautifully presented and part of us didn't want to tuck into something so visually pleasing. The dessert was out of this world and I wish I could have it all again today. To round up, excellent service, excellent food and very highly recommended.

This is a beautiful genuine old English pub hotel situated near Longleat in Wiltshire. It serves excellent beer and good food but the lovely quirky twist is the rooms. We stayed in the Karma Sutra room decorated with the less sensational pictures from the book. Other rooms have similar themes. A bit of fun amidst rural Wiltshire scenery.

You've captured our intentions perfectly - thanks for your review! I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay and all the quirky touches we have a reputation for. Mark, who is charge of the cellar, is delighted you enjoyed the local beers - they're made just 3 miles away! Chef is delighted you enjoyed the food too. Looking forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future.

we stayed here in April in the raja room which was lovely but the top end of our price bracket however the stay was let down by the service in the bar - they were busy but we only wanted bar snacks and we were ignored for ages as we stood there then waited hnearly 1 hour for olives / bread /sausage rolls . - i don't think we had the "right label in our clothes" - bit of an up market type of place

Room Tip: go for rooms on ground floor with patio doors

Thank you for taking the time to add your review and I'm sorry you experienced such a delay in the bar service - that's certainly not our usual high standard. Being busy is no excuse, it was an unfortunate slip on the evening and I know we can serve you better on a future visit.

Lovely setting and ideal for visiting Longleat. The bedroom lived up to the hotels reputation as 'Quirky', very very comfortable bed although one side of the bed was up against a wall which wasnt ideal if you needed to visit the bathroom in the night!

The shower in the bathroom definately needed some power and comes out at a gentle rate of knots!

There was a good selection at breakfast, cereal, fruit, pastries, juice etc but we were let down by the full english which wasnt very tasty.

We visited the bar on our 1st night and was shocked by the prices charged, consequently we only had one drink!
