Lovely b&b only 5 mins car journey out of Bath. The landlady is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms and en suite were great. Breakfast really nice. The b&b had lots of lovely little extras too. Would definately recommend this b&b and would not hesitate in staying there again.

Room Tip: Room 5 was great

Our family of four females have just spent one night in the family room at Garston cottage. The room was very comfortable, clean & well equipped. The welcome tray was very well stocked and all toiletries were provided.
The village is lovely only a few miles outside of Bath. We ate our evening meal at the local pub, The Crown which is minutes from the cottage and serves wonderful home cooked food.
Breakfast at the B&B consisted of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, toast and a delicious full English breakfast. We were made to feel welcome and would certainly recommend Garston Cottage for a comfortable, good value stay.

I was slightly disappointed with our experience at this B&B. The cottage itself is a lovely building and the setting is beautiful, but we requested a double room and a single room with en-suites, and when we arrived they had allocated us the family room, and so I had to be put in a single room at the last minute I feel, which wasn't an en-suite but that wasn't a major issue. I did not sleep very well at all however due to noisy plumbing, lights being left on all night and general noise. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice, and it was very tasty. The rest of the experience however just left something to be desired, with those extra touches being left out. Beverley was very helpful with maps and directions as we were new to the area.
Overall, not overly thrilled, it was OK for one night.

Very comfortable. Landlady allowed us to leave our things at house whilst we went to races. Landlord and landlady very friendly. Nice touches in rooms including huge selection of drinks sachets, sweets and plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent B&B just outside Bath. Have stayed twice now when visiting Bath races. Comfortable rooms with everything that you would need. Pool/games room and nice garden. Beautiful setting. Landlady and landlord very friendly. Farmhouse feel to breakfast as all the guest sit round a large family table.

Just spent 2 nights and my wife and I were impressed. Everything on offer was well done. Breakfast was very good and the standard of the rooms was better than average. Cleanliness was excellent overall with just one or 2 areas like the tv needing a dust. What sets this place apart is the excellent landlady.

My husband & I spent our honeymoon there, we happy to stay in this cottage, the owner very friendly and helpful, we were greeted as soon as we came in thru the door and showed us our room which is very spacious and provide us with towels in our 3 days stay there. Beverly gave us a room that had a stunning view and the toilet were very clean and complete with all toiletries. The bus stop is accessible from the cottage and there is a nearby pub " The Crown" offers nice food. We enjoy our full english breakfast which we are always looking forward to eat each morning and we were able to make friends with a couple who stay on the other room which we always meet them in long table where we always had breakfast. We will definitely come back there and we will recommend this cottage to our friends and family that who wish to visit Bath! It was a lovely and unforgettable experience :-)
