We only stayed for one night but wished we'd stayed longer. Cedars B&B is a beautiful newly restored property with wonderful hosts. The property is just outside of Bath city centre, which is great as parking in the city is horrendous, which was our main reason for not staying just ouside the centre. Next door to the property is an excellent pub which serves amazing food, very fresh and prepared to perfection.
Breakfast at The Cedars was superb. All in all a wonderful stay with every amenity and luxury available. Don't bother staying in the city centre when you can stay just outside for a fraction of the cost and free parking !!!

We stayed here in Bathford at The Cedars whilst visiting family in the village. We were welcomed by the lovely Gilly. Our room was lovely and warm and clean, and a lovely big bed, with good quality bedding and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast next morning was served in the bright modern dining room, cooked perfectly by Gilly, and served by her hubby, they worked so well together and nothing was too much trouble! One of the best cooked breakfast I have had anywhere,we were spoilt for choice.
The bus stops right outside, which was so convenient to Bath, easier and cheaper to leave the car at the Cedars, and spend the day in Bath. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely place, Donna and Graham Melbourne Australia

The Cedars is just outside Bath, on the outskirts of a hillside village called Bathford. We were delighted to find a lovely brand new house with modern styling, big picture windows, pastel colours and not a trace of fake Victorian chintz! Damian and Gilly, who live next door, were very good hosts. They cooked a big breakfast for us in the huge, spacious open-plan kitchen-diningroom-lounge and they provided little extra goodies for us to find in the evenings, like an ample supply of cookies and tea/coffeemaking facilities in the kitchen, and sherry in the lounge area. There was a DVD library and we could watch these, or TV, either in our rooms or on the huge widescreen TV in the lounge. We also appreciated the WiFi. The short local bus trip to Bath was VERY convenient, with the bus stop literally outside the gate, so we were able to leave our cars safely in the parking area in the drive all day while visiting the City.

Met up with an old friend for a couple of days visiting Bath. Damien and Gilly could not have been more helpful and friendly. Lovely accommodation, newly built and very peaceful. Excellent breakfast too. Ideal for getting the bus in to Bath. Had a wonderful break. Definitely will stay again. Thank you :-)

My husband and I just got back from a lovely weekend in Bath at the Cedars. Such a peaceful and beautiful place. The hosts are delightful and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. Totally worth the short bus ride from Bath's main train station.

The Cedars website was what initially caught our eye. A call to the owners resulted in a warm and accommodating response to our enquiry for accommodation whilst attending a friend's wedding.
We were not disappointed, the owners could not have been more friendly and the accommodation was faultless. All-in-all it made our stay most enjoyable. Our 3 year old son shared our bed, which was two three-quarter beds joined together, making more than adequate sleeping arrangment for the night.
We would definately stay here again....and will!
