The birds of prey experience is great fun, we really enjoyed it. The guy was very knowledgeable, the birds were amazing and the surroundings are nice too.
Ridiculously good day! 11 birds of prey and just the two of us plus Ryan. Cannot recommend it enough. Cheers! TM
This is a day or half day spent interacting with the birds of prey. Very informative and interesting talk, thoroughly enjoyable if you like birds. They also do other events the information is on their website. They cater for all, family groups etc not just couples everyone is catered for. It's a great day out.
We spent 16 days in the UK, a week in Scotland, 2 days in London and a week in southeastern England. We saw 6 castles, 4 abbeys, the British Museum, the Braemar Games, many awesome sights. But this, this was the BEST.
I still am thrilled to have spent time with Paul and his birds. I would say this is something very special, Paul is special, dedicated to his craft: Falconry. I know it is much more, because we handled Owls and Hawks as well as Falcons. This is something that you cannot experience in most parts of the world.
Very Very Cool, and we would love to be able to spend more time with Paul and his flock. Words just cannot describe it.
Ryan was absolutely amazing, his knowledge and passion for the birds shines through and the experience was incredible. Hawks, owls, kestrels and falcons, all so beautiful, graceful, and majestic. A real up close experience that is second to none. Thank you for a fantastic birthday afternoon!!
We went on a Birds of Prey photography Day and had a great time. Ryan was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful as photographers tend to know what shots they are looking for. We had a Barn owl, a Tawny, an Eagle owl and a Harris Hawk. Ryan flew the bird towards the photographers and was really helpful and interested in understanding what we needed. He even helped in dropping a bird from his glove down to a perch to grab a really interesting shot. It was quite a challenge to get decent photos as birds in flight are notoriously difficult. But if you’re ever going to get a good shot, it’s here.
The ground we covered was quite rough so make sure you have very sturdy shoes!
