“Hallett Cove Conservation Park is a beautiful secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

If you can't do the full walk I highly recommend just the Hallett Cove Conservation park segment. The landscape is unique to this area - millions of years old sandstone cliffs continually being eroded along the coast. The hiking around here is all moderate and the boardwalk quite easy although there are some steep sections, especially the Jacob's ladder down to the beach!
There is a nice cafe open Wednesday to Sunday and playground for the kids.

“Amazing walk”

Early morning, superb scenery, not for the fainthearted or those without a moderate degree of fitness. Worth the effort.

“Interesting coastal walk with views and geological formations”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2013

A decent walk along well constructed paths wiith viewing points , this walk gives you views well out into the gulf. This part of the coast is fairly exposed so dress appropriately in winter and note that there is little or no shade in summer. Wear covered in shoes. The walk south leads into the Hallet Cove Condervation Park which is a geologist's dream featuring formations from an ice age 280 million years ago. best photography time is late afternoon when the western sun strikes the formations.
