Last minute booking for a visit to Pitlochry. Good sized, clean and comfortable room, relaxed atmosphere with a very welcoming host. Highly recommended. Only 12 miles from Pitlochry (and much quieter and more pleasant, I think).

As part of a tour with friends, we stayed 2 nights in this delightful hotel set near Pitlochry. The owners , Mr & Mrs Massey, had recently taken over the hotel and were refurbishing the interior to a high standard. Rooms were large , well-furnished and comfortable. the food was prepared using local ingredients and was delicious. Try the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon at breakfast, prepared by Colin Massey! Wonderful ! Plenty of parking; large garden; friendly and efficient service; cosy bar and a very decent wine selection ; staggering choice of whiskys also. We will definitely return and stay for lon ger so that we can enjoy more dishes from the menu.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel and on arrival we were greeted by a very lovely lady (the owner) we were put in the courtyard area, room number 8 and it was very nice, very spacious and cosy. The hotel is very secluded which is what we wanted. We visited Pitlochry which was a 25 minute drive. We ate at the hotel and it was really nice, would recommend this place stay or even just for a meal. Will be back soon

Whilst staying in the nearby village we visited the Inn for a meal and a drink, we were not disappointed, good choice of menu and specials, food was excellent and well presented so good we went back two nights later.

Stayed here for two nights with our three year old recently, when we were looking to avoid the tourism of nearby Pitlochry. The place has new owners who we found to be warm and welcoming. The food is very good indeed - my only complaint is the portions are a bit too big! Our room was large and comfortable and everything we needed was accommodated. This place is very good value and a great spot.

We are here for three nights as part of a tour of Scotland, it is a quiet hotel located 20 km from Pitlochery.
the road to The Strathardle Inn from Pitlochery is already worth with beautiful vistas and on your way to The Strathardle Inn you will a Hotel brewery Moulin and a Whisky distillery Edradour.

Various possibilities of continental, cooked or smoked salmon for breakfast.

The pub food is good and is supplemented with daily specialties.

Rooms are spacious and for the ones who hunt, the rooms have a gun safe.

Dined this week with local friends, and hoping for great things with hotel under new management, but slow slow service, which is duck when there are kids, flagging by 10.30 and also, vital to have non fishy oil when cooking Chips. Don't expect t have my winderful steak with peppercorn sauce ruined by fishy chips.

As a local I want to come back soon, so these two glitches must be sorted!
