I guess hat is a typical conference type hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and there is a great desk to work at. The bar has a nice feel to it and there is a great outside space overlooking the lake. One downside is that they don't have on-site leisure facilities but they are available close by (at a charge).
Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Ala in all, it does exactly what you would expect.

Thank your for sharing your views with us. The Health & Leisure Club on our site is run by a third party as a private members club, this unfortunately means that we do have to make a small charge for our guests to use the facility. I hope you will come back and visit with us again soon.

Stayed here the night before an assessment day. Room was comfortable but I did back onto a machine room or something and it was noisy at times. Slept vvv well though. Breakfast was lovely. I asked for poached eggs and it wasn't a problem and they were perfect, not snotty at all. Wide variety. Staff were excellent. Would recommend.

I stayed in the oceana. Rooms where kept very tidy and clean. The beds where very comfortable, which made it hard to get up for work in the morning!

The breakfast was good and the dinning areas where lovely. Didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant in the evening but did order food from the lounge which was nothing to write home about to be honest.

The bar was well stocked with a wide variety of wines and larger. Only one ale though. The bar and waiting staff were atentive and helpful.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Always nice to be greeted with a smile.

I took my friend here to celebrate her birthday. The welcome was lovely, complete with complimentary drink in the cafe whilst we filled out our questionnaires. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.

We both tried everything in the spa - thermal pool was great and we also enjoyed the cool scented mist, the ice room, all of the saunas and steam rooms. We had a facial included in our deal and also booked a lime and ginger body scrub - fabulous.

The spa itself was spotless and the waterbeds and relaxing rooms were very tranquil, the whole day was as relaxing as i was hoping.

The only very slight disappointment was the "buffet lunch" - we had to trek quite a bit through the hotel - the dining room was quite warm and we were 'glowing' a bit in our robes. I personally would have been happy to have something in the cafe attached to the spa - but i suppose its not quite big enough to deal with the number of people... the buffet choice was quite small - again i would have preferred to have a panini and salad - or a choice of pre -ordering something from a menu maybe?

But considering it was all included in the price for the day it still represented good value for money. I've been to bigger spa's but not enjoyed the facilities as much.

Ultimately my friend really enjoyed it, which was the main thing. I had a rather relaxing time too!

All ratings are based on the YSPA facilities and staff only.

my wife booked an overnight spa break from our anniversary at this venue for last weekend. although not much to look at as you drive in, and obviously set up for business, a training venue and conferences we had a great stay. the food, in particular the evening meal for of a very good standard. the highlight of the trip though was the morning in the y spa. Obviously quite new but the staff were great, including a tour round to show us where everything was, the saunas, steam rooms, changing areas, quiet zones and seating areas were excellent. We both had a treatment which was very good. look past your first impressions and you will have an enjoyable stay

We stayed at the Wyboston Lakes Hotel as it was close to Bedford (12 Miles) and we were attending the fantastic river festival. The room was very nice and the huge bed superb. All that was lacking in the Coffee making facilities was George Clooney as everything else was well stocked and supplied. So what a pity when I had my shower in the rather basic bathroom, and went to put the empty shower gell bottle in the waste bin to find it already full of rubbish including a sanitary towel. Such carelessness is surprising in a Hotel in such a lovely setting. Please check details like this in future - you cannot imagine how off-putting it is to discover someone else's detritus.

Room Tip: Try to get a room near reception....we had to battle through 5 fire doors (with our suitcases) to ge...
