Our first trip here saw us doing breakfast, which is pretty good. However our return visit for lunch over the long weekend was a little disappointing. If you're a burger person, the Angus burger and chicken burgers alike are prefab affairs rather than home/freshly made. The seafood platter is also entirely fried, factory made, so not really worth going for - a shame given the proximity to the sea, but then there are no real fishing communities nearby. I imagine the salads are likely to be better options. The cake selection is good, though as someone who makes scones at home, theirs were disappointingly dry and chewy, rather than moist and crumbly/flaky. Instead, go for the biscuits or other cakes, which are of a better standard. The staff are really lovely, whether or not you swear by their food, and will serve you with warmth and a smile, which is lovely. The location is also very nice, with pretty views from the deck.
