We stayed at the Canim Lake Beach House for one week and it was great. The cabin is very clean and has a spacious kitchen. All the kitchen utensils and dishes that you'd need are provided as well as the towels and bedding which was handy. Because we were there at the end of a unusually cool and wet June, we didn't spend much time on the deck but used the BBQ almost everyday. The wet weather did mean there were mosquitoes and flies but nothing we couldn't deter with a campfire and some bug repellent. We spent lots of time reading on the adirondack chairs on the beach and our son loved digging in the rocky sand. The canoe rental was very affordable and my husband spent lots of time on the lake, fly fishing. Lots of hikes and walks to waterfalls nearby. There's no cell service so don't plan on staying in touch with the office while you're here! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin but the property also has two beautifully renovated suites to rent as well. We'll definitely go back.
