My wife and I actually stayed here in August 2010 but my original review was removed as it hurt another reviewer's feelings. If you can give criticism but can't take it then don't write negative reviews that you can't justify. I don;t understand why some reviewers feel the need to moan about a hotel's location on this site. Unless the hotel actually lied about it's location (this one doesn't) then you only have yourself to blame for booking somewhere without checking where it is first! Rant over.

My partner and I stayed here for one night during a driving tour of Italy and found it to be a very pleasant experience with just a few minor complaints. Ok, it is 15-20mins from the centre of Verona this didn't bother us as we had our own car + it doesn't advertise itself as a hotel
near the centre of town anyway ( The hotel is located in is an industrial suburb of Verona called Villafranca near to the local airport).

Pros: Very clean rooms, helpful staff, very quiet area, very good hotel
owned restaurant/pizzeria (over the road from the hotel - the hotel only
offers breakfast inside the building),

Cons: 4euro p/h charge for the internet, underground parking costs 6euros
per night - considering the location of the hotel and that it is advertising itself as 4*, these services should be included in the price.

To summarise - a good value, quiet, clean and modern hotel located slightly out of town but with a few unnecessary hidden charges.

rooms were o.k.
the web site promised a shuttle to the hotel, but you need to book it in advance... 24 hours in advance was not suffiecent enough. Also late in the evening (around 8:00 p.m) was too late so needed to take a taxi from and to the airport.
Staff was not very friendly and just did there job - not more and not less.

This is the first time I check into hotel without actually staying for the night. The "convenient" location is in an industrial estate close to the airport so if that's where you're visiting then maybe it's ok. However, if you are visiting Verona, then I strongly recommend you take a hotel downtown rather than having to spend 25 Euros on a taxi each way just to find yourself in a kitch, prefabricated type structure with small rooms and the delightful sounds of airplanes flying overhead....

Room Tip: Just go somewhere else

We stayed here for three nights in August 2012. A new hotel with air conditioned rooms. The pool with sauna and steam bath was a real treat after hot days at Lake Garda or in Verona. Free secure parking. Ample breakfast included. Near the airport, but we heard nothing. Internet is not free (10 Euros for 24 hours or 4 Euros for 1 hour.), but fast. Family rooms are available.

Stayed at this hotel in error believing it to be the sister hotel...Sud pont, adjacent to railway station in Verona! E20 taxi ride later and ended up in a business park near the airport, so if you need a good deal and are flying in late or leaving early this is the one to stayand its very very cheap for what you get.

Obviously you need a car if you want to go to Verona and not easy to get back to at night for the bus No 56(1.50) is erratic but stopsconveniently behind the hotel at the edge of the dual carriageway(timetable at the hotel) be warned it does not run from Verona Stastion on a Sunday so without a car your option is only taxi.

First impression is daunting as its on the edge of a duall carriageway and the place is flanked by a garden furniture outlet and scrap metal place and industrial units yet once inside its a fine place make no mistake so dont be put off .
Check in is easy and friendly and rooms quiet functional, spacious and very comfortable. You have to pay for internet perhalf hour about E3 which is mean but quiet common in many hotels of this type.

Now the good part! Excellent little deserted pool ,sauna, steam room and gym which is great if you have just come from the hustle and bustle of Rome or Florence and a chance to relax and unwind..for free. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is fine .If you are olanning to eat out look no further than the unlikely placed restaurant a stones throe away.It is a wonderful restaurant with delicious authentic food .Named , "La Musa" used exclusively by italian families coming in from Verona and surrounding area and...the food is excellent,

if you stay at the hotel you can get 10% discount..always a bonus. Not the tourist rubbish found downtown and the ambience of the place is great and was easy to make an evening of it and weave back the 30 metres or so across the road to ones bed.. or maybe the small bar for just one more?. Apart from the hotel and the restaurant opposite there is nothing else apart from a huge hypermarket FAMILIA which is great to stock up on stuff with endless choice and brilliant value.
So..some vacation gaffes do have a silver lining and this is one of them. Presumably the Sud Point beside the station is a similar set up and worth investigating als as its in the same chain..

Room Tip: They all seemed similar built on some sort of formula, the views are inner city industrial type so i...

Stayed here for two nights and what a bargain, lovely hotel friendly staff, clean good standard room, there was good choice for breakfast. We all enjoyed the use of the pool sauna etc facilities.

There is nothing close to hotel except the airport but if u have a car it's excellent base to explore. Verona 10 mins away and lake garda, garda land less than half an hour away.

The prices of the hotels in the centre and near the lake were ridiculously over priced so this really was a little gem. Loved it and will definitely return as I love Verona.
