We stayed at the Villa Sant’Andrea for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. It is extremely well priced for such a high standard of service. In comparison to other places in the area, it is by far the best. It is tucked away in the hills, overlooking Camiore and Pietrasanta, and is accessible by bus or taxi. This is an advantage because it is away from the noise of the main tourist areas, so it is lovely and quiet. The views of the surrounding hills and sea were amazing and even more spectacular at sunset. The villa and rooms were immaculate. The buffet breakfast was delicious and so plentiful that it kept us going all day. The swimming pool, which is salt water, was exquisite. We had the whole area to ourselves for the afternoon, which was extremely relaxing. The owners couldn’t have been lovelier and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful if they tried. They speak English and Italian, so visitors who don’t speak Italian do not have to worry. It is about an hour away from Florence by train but the bus services in Versillia do tend to stop between 7 and 8 pm, so it would be advisable to hire a car. I would definitely recommend Villa Sant’Andrea to anybody in need of a relaxing and luxurious break. I could not fault it at all. We felt completely spoilt.
