My husband and I had arrived in Corbridge in the late afternoon and needed to book a table somewhere in the village to eat. Everywhere we went it was fully booked. We discovered the small quaint and interesting Il Piccolo and were also told they were full...however, the hostess (owners wife) suggested that if we wanted to stay, although it was rather early, she could accomodate us before the maddening crowd.....we decided to take her up on her offer and were quite amazed at the lovely food, the friendliness, the atmoshphere and the fantastic service we received. Would recommend this one!
