My girlfriend and I were booked for 4 nights here but we stayed for 5. We arrived in Las Tablas by bus and took a cheap 6 dollar taxi ride to the hotel. We were greeted by Rebecca and shown to our room. The room was nice and clean and we were comfortable. We had a small problem with our A/C leaking. Rebecca and Rigo helped us move our stuff up to a beautiful upgraded suite at no extra charge until our A/C was repaired. The suite was very nice. We moved back to our 1st room 2 days later and spent our remaining 3 nights there. The hotel has a nice deck overlooking the wide beach where you are served a great breakfast every morning. This deck also has chairs, tables and even hammocks for your relaxation. We would sit on the deck enjoying the view and a cold beer or two every afternoon. It is a great place to meet other guests and talk. They have a help yourself honor system refrigerator stocked with beer, sodas, wine and bottled water. It is also a good place to read or check emails. The internet was very good. There are small restaurants close by within walking distance. We ate lunch at a couple of them and dinner also. Rebecca cooked dinner for us 3 nights and they were the best tasting meals we had while in Panama. She is an excellent cook. Rebecca and Rigo were so helpful with everything. We had some great conversations with them during our stay. We really did enjoy our time with them. We now think of them as friends and hope they think of us the same way. When we go back to Panama we will surely stay again with Rebecca and Rigo at Posada del Mar.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and still didn't want to leave. It's a beautiful place, the beds are comfy, the view from the deck is lovely, it's right on a long beach. Rebecca and Rigo were very hospitable. If you get a chance, have dinner there. Rebecca is a great cook.

We arrived at the Posada Del Mar late in the evening on Jan.15/2014 and were very warmly received by Rebecca. Guests are provided with a jug of cold water for each room and bottled water can be purchased. There is a lovely view of the ocean and beach. The hammocks beckon you to try them out. The bathroom was very tiny and hot water was almost non-existent but the world's softest bath towels made up for these short comings. We needed to leave early in the morning and the hosts were able to provide an extra early continental breakfast for us which included cantaloupe, pineapple, yogurt, toast, guava jam and orange juice. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay.

This is a very welcoming hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We felt at home right away. I broke a crown and Rebecca found a dentist for me to see. My husband got a parking ticket in town and her husband went with him to help him get it taken care of. One night when we ate out and were unable to find any desert after dinner, Rebecca offered us brownies with ice cream that were delicious.

Room was comfortable and there is a great view of the beach from the common balcony. Only downside is that the water in this area is not safe for drinking, but they did provide pitchers of drinking water.

The hosts are wonderful! We felt at home and enjoyed visiting with them daily. They gave us tips on the area which included a lovely drive south through the mountains, east to Vendado beach, and north to Pedasi, and back to Las Tablas. We also went to Iguana Island. We had the upper room which had a great view of the beach and ocean and Rebecca fixed us the best fresh fish I have ever had one night. They provided beach towels and breakfast daily. There is a cantina/restaurant a few houses down where we enjoyed the local atmosphere and had good food. We also ate at the Ricon restaurant that was within walking distance which was also good. The beach will almost solely be yours (maybe a few Panamanian families) and it is across the street from the Posada. If you are in this area, you will want to stay here.

We just returned from our stay at Posada del mar. This was one of the few times we felt sorry to leave a place. Our hosts Rebecca and Rigo made us feel as part of the family. As if their home was ours as well...actually i think we overdone it at some occasions.
They accommodated every need and organized our trips to isla iguana. We asked if they had a pair of sea glasses and they came up with four pro sets of snorkeling equipment for every one in our family.
We dinned twice there as well, and the food was amazing.
I will return though to the personality of Rebecca, our host. She is a people's person, made to associate with others. The perfect person for the perfect job.
We will DEFINITELY return time and again! Thank you guys!!!
