We stayed here for 2 nights last week. The bedroom was spacious and very well equipped. Full sky tv, mini fridge with fresh milk, quality tea and coffee making facilities as well as a bathroom complete with whirlpool bath and complimentary toiletries. Stuart and Tania were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough to help us. Stuart was very knowledgeable about the local area, places to eat and walks to complete. Tania provided delicious home made breakfasts and packed lunches and we even bought dome of her delicious home mad jam to bring home. We can't recommend this B&B highly enough!! Thank you Tania and Stuart for your wonderful hospitality.

What a great find (thanks trip advisor). We were going to stay at the Sligachan hotel, but found this cheaper and better replacement just before booking. There are only 2 letting bedrooms, we had the Red Cuillin room - spacious and comfortable, with great views and facilities (even full Sky TV - not that we ever turned it on!). The breakfast was yummy and we had packed lunches on all our 4 nights too (also good). The owners Tania and Stuart are friendly and helpfull and made you feel at home. You could eat at the B&B in the evenings, but we ate out all 4 nights at nearby places like the bar at Sligachan or The Old Inn at Carbost. The only slight downer is the shower wasn't powerful, but this is more due to the constraints of the building/water supply than anything else, you could always use the spa bath instead.

Room Tip: I suspect our room has the best views - Red Cuillin room

We stayed for 2 nights in May in the Red Cuillin Room. Tania and Stuart made us feel so welcome at all times and couldn't have been more helpful. Stuart lent us a map which greatly helped us on the 4 walks that we did whilst on Skye. Tania's breakfasts were lovely, the only problem being having to decide from all the choices offered! She also makes lovely jams and marmalades which can be bought (I had to have a few!). The room itself and the facilities leave you wanting for nothing and the bed was beautifully comfortable. And the view.... well, you get an idea from their website webcam but it's just so much more when you're actually there. The location is good too, being fairly central so getting anywhere in Skye doesn't seem to take very long. If we return to Skye we would definitely hope to be able to stay at Bla Bheinn again.

We just left Bla Bhein and felt the need to share our excitement about this place.

We spent 4 nights, with our 2 year old daughter, in this amazing B&B, that gave us the feeling of "home away from home", especially due to our lovely hosts (more to come).

The room - the red cuillin room is very big, enough to fit a double bed, a single bed, a double sofa and still have space to walk around! The bath has jacuzzi streams and very hot water and we even had bath robes that truly made us feel like we just finished a spa treatment. The fridge was stocked with local beer and the coffee/tea facilities even had kit-kat, which we love! (And so does our daughter).

There is even a sauna in the hallway!

Breakfast - best we had so far! Fresh pancakes every day and that was only for starters! Omelettes which were beyond fantastic (it was so good we ordered the same thing every day!), and every imaginable thing you could want for breakfast.

Packed lunches - although a little expensive, worth every penny - with freshly made bread for sandwiches, fruits, chips, chocolate and juice.

Location - although at first it seemed in the middle of nowhere, it ended up being pretty much in the middle of everything! Not far from Portree and Carbost (check out the Old Inn - fantastic food!!) and also not too far away from most attractions, especially the fairy pools and the Cuillin mountains.

Tania & Stuart - the most gracious hosts we had the fortune of meeting. They always welcomed us with a smile, always had invaluable advices, made us feel at home every minute and never made us feel like we were a burden even though we had a million questions. They gave us books and maps to help us along our walks and even found a nice hike for us to do, when we we're trying to decide what to do on our last day, which was indeed lovely. Also they were very patient with our little daughter - that was quite cranky at the beginning of our stay - and with our constant tardiness to breakfast! I can just keep writing but the bottom line is that we could not ask for better hosts.

I think it's quite clear this is a place we will absolutely love to come back to and for anyone looking for a place to stay - look no further!

We have stayed before with Tania and Stuart and thoroughly enjoyed going back, Great room and facilities, lovely breakfast (lots of options). Stuarts local maps and hastily printed directions made it simple to find the best food options and great places to see. Will be back to see these great hosts again. Thanks for a lovely break.

Room Tip: Both rooms superbly equiped and have wonderful views.

we stayed in the Red Cuillin room this past weekend for 3 nights, and were welcomed into our lovely room by a mini fridge containing goodies (Skye beers) as well as a a large selection of teas, hot choco, coffee and kit kat bars. For someone who hates waking up in the morning, Tania's amazing omelettes + breakfast spread each morning got me out of bed with ease. And my fav part about our stay there... the dogs! Talli and Lela were absolutely adorable!!! Such cute well behaved dogs. No complaints at all, and recommend staying here!

Room Tip: The red cuillin room was really large - easily fits 3 people.

We had such a lovely time at this B&B last March we returned in late April this year, and again it was such a joy to stay at this B&B again. Always a warm welcome from our hosts Tania ,Stuart and their 2 beautiful dogs Tally & Llla. Again we stayed in the Red Cuillin room and were not disappointed. It is a large family room with a fridge containing complimentary local ales. There is a full Sky TV package in the room as well as games, DVD's and books as well as Wi-Fi and information on interesting local places to visit. Everything you need in one package. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the choice was excellent, the majority of which had been home-made (bread, herbs) or locally sourced. The B&B is well situated for exploring Skye.
