We stayed in Beachfront Villa number 3 and as soon as we walked in the door we knew we were in for a good week. The private pool was definately private and the beach was only meters away and we had our own private beach access. The lagoon just out side Sea Change is fantastic and boasted a large array of aquatic life, we were even lucky enough to see a turtle on our second last day. Christina organised a special cake and flowers and was more than helpful with organising activities and answering questions. A big thankyou to Christina and also to Nina and John for making an important day very special to us both. Sea Change is in a great location and on a wonderful island and will always be in our memories.

Sea Change Villas were very clean and extremely comfortable. We had a Lagoon view villa and were very happy with that choice. It was great sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. The view of the lagoon was great. The gardens were beautiful.
Our villa was very well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom spacious. The kitchen had all you need.
The one disappointment was the fact that the pool was rather chilly, even coming from Tasmania I thought water was cold. We booked with the knowledge that we had our own private pool and would be using it frequently but alas this was not so.
Having kayaks, snorkeling gear and bicycles to use was great, a fantastic added bonus.

One day we came back from a day trip to discover that there was a terrible smell in the air, thinking it was just a smelly vehicle we left our doors and windows open to let the breeze through. By the time we realised that it was in fact decking oil on the balcony of the next villa the smell was through our villa and did not disappear for hours. It would have been nice to have been told that re-oiling of the decking was going to take place and we would have taken steps accordingly.
Talking to Maria in reception was a delight. She was a lovely, warm person.
Our stay was otherwise lovely.

Room Tip: A lagoon view villa lets you see the beach and water as well as watching everything happening along...

We were greeted with private transportation and champagne/water. The orientation; advice on restaurants, activities, car/scooter rental, and breakfast basket on arrival were much appreciated. John and Nina, the managers were the absolute best for anything we needed help with. The special dinner reservations for my birthday and our anniversary as well as the bubbly from John and Nina was outstanding. The resort is quiet, clean, secure and beautiful. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful. The office has movies, books, cds, and magazines at your disposal. The weather is warm to very warm with gentle breezes during the day and cooler at night. Kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear, laundry facilities, full kitchen, plunge pool with big deck, two headed shower, BBQ area, and beach directly across the road were well used by us. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation at Sea Change and are making plans to return in the near future.

Room Tip: We stayed in #5 and it was perfect .

Fabulous accommodation! We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow with private courtyard garden and pool...the two bedroom suites meant our daughter could do her own thing and the games room meant we could share family time...John & Nina couldn't do enough to make our holiday special, from the personal orientation meeting to organising our rental car for us...the recommended excursions were all great and the greeting at the airport was fabulous, with leis, limo and iced water/bubbles. The setting is perfect with a great beach for kayaking and snorkelling directly across the road. The Shipwreck Inn was a perfect spot for watching the unbelievable sunset and the Vaima Restaurant provided a gorgeous evening meal on the beach with transport to and from Sea Change included (thanks for the recommendation, John!). Would return to Sea Change in a heartbeat!

We spent 10 nights at Sea Change Villas for our honeymoon and it was just perfect!! Our villa had beautiful lagoon and garden views, it was spacious, super comfy and we had our own private pool. The orientation with John was excellent and gave us a really good idea of things to do and see and places to eat, he made us feel like locals right away!! Christina in the office was great and took care of all our bookings and dinner reservations...nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The villas were super private and felt like our very own little slice of paradise. Rarotonga as a whole is amazing, people are relaxed, friendly and happy!! Loved every second of our time in the Cook Islands, snorkelled, hiked, cycled,, fished, saw a cultural show, day trip to Aitutaki...all excellent. Would very highly recommend Sea Change Villas to anyone wanting to relax and unwind and have a great holiday!!! Local restaurants were also amazing....love those Turkish bread fish burgers (thanks John for the hot tip)!!!!! Overall brilliant honeymoon destination and hopefully we will be able to go back and visit again!!

Room Tip: Lagoon view rooms are great and only over the road to the beach.

We have just had the most amazing 10 night stay at Sea Change Villas, our Villa was beachfront with our own private swimming pool, over looking the beautiful lagoon, where the snorkelling was amazing. All the extras that went with the beautifully designed Villas made it that much more beautiful,I mean our driver who Sea Change had organised to pick us up from the airport, poured us a couple of glasses of champayne too drink on the way to our Villa, then Mel who came & cooked us the most amazing barbecue on our deck that night, then the beutiful fresh fruit platter in the morning that arrived even as much as a candle & cake as it was my husbands birthday so they had found out,the massage we both got around the swimming pool,& then organising us too be picked up too get a convertible to hire for the rest of the nine days was all so professionally organised.Nina,John & Christina were the most amazing hosts always there if you wanted them ,but respected our privacy as well. When we go back too Rarotonga we would most definately stay at Sea Change, all the rooms are just beautiful, even with there own outside chess table,& games room.(Home away from home)Thank you once again for the most amazing holiday

We spent 6 nights at this amazing place in a beach front villa with our own private pool. Great view of the lagoon and out to sea and we think the best side of the Island for swimming/snorkling and kayaking. Everyone was so helpful and yet respected our privacy. Although we had been to Rarotonga before but they gave us a great orientation on the first day and great recommendations of places to eat and things to do on the Island (dont miss The Moorings for a great lunch - it was fantastic - freshest fish ever). Also well worth it was the Sunset BBQ they organised for us on our last night on our deck overlooking the lagoon. Room was always kept clean and yet never saw the cleaners they always managed to get it done while we were out. As our first day was Sunday and you couldn't buy any alcohol Nina arranged some complimentary alcohol for us. The layout of the room was spacious and good quality with a huge shower and ensuite. If you are thinking of travelling to Rarotonga, you should not look past Sea Change Villas.

Room Tip: The beach front villas are well worth it.
