This is a beautiful hotel with spectacular views of Loch Lomond. The hotel is pricey but you pay for what you get! The room was spotless and comfortable, the staff made us (including the children) feel welcome and the amenities (especially the pool) were fantastic. We would definitely return to Cameron House.

Was treated to cameron house as a birthday treat- have been before and always had an excellent time- however on this occasion sadly to say it wasn't an enjoyable time- the staff were brisk/maybe over worked! ( not all-chamber maids exceptionally friendly) we ate our evening meal at cameron grill- definitely not one I would recommend over priced, very slow non exsistant service, our meal took over 3 hours, Mainly huge wait for main coarse! Portion size left a lot to be desired, if your paying over £35 for a main you expect to be well fed. I have always raved about cameron house- the scenery is outstanding, the pool, bar ect, lovely, clean,I ll have to rethink my overall thoughts this hotel has gone down in my estimations! Actually very disheartened by quality and poor service! Not sure if I would visit again! The breakfast in the grill was usual excellent quality- point is you service yourself for breakfast!

Beautiful location, building ,food and spa but unfortunately that's where it ends.
Paid for a room with a coffee machine, was sent to a room without. Returned to reception to enquire about this , spoken to quite abruptly from the boy on reception, which was not a good first impression. To avoid any more of his attitude had to settle for the room given.
Ate in the boathouse on an evening layout was terrible, café style and very uncomfortable seated far to close to the people on the next table. Not enough staff working so had to request water, ready to order etc each evening. Credit to the staff who were working as they were so busy but still managed to smile despite their workload.
Breakfast time was certainly not five star . Had to wait every morning to be seated and for three mornings my daughter requested a smoothie off the menu which she never received and without any explanation. Three morning we had dirty cutlery, and one morning it took me 5 attempts to find a clean orange juice glass. Staff again worked far to hard ,so that stops them from been able to pay attention to detail, Shame.
Again more problems with reception staff and attitude when checking out, they had got the bill wrong for each evening and were attempted to be overcharged a staggering £150 which they did eventually correct.
Credit to the concierge staff and to the maids who were the most friendliest welcoming and helpful with no attitude problems at all , big thank you to them all.
Very expensive 3 day break and sadly wont be returning as I felt let down by the five star status.

What a view!! Incredible setting, shame our loch view room was ground floor and not much of a loch view. Very impressive building upon arrival and receptionist friendly enough. However, services were not explained and felt left to find our own feet. Room lovely, if a little bit dark, but luxury elements clear. Food at the Boat House was tasty and breakfast was very good. A good place to stay for a night for the experience of it, but can tell its a cooperate business.

Overall very good stay. Only issues we had were that we were sent to a room that wasn't ready on check in which was. Little disappointing. And we had a few issues with food in the boat house, the paella was pure stodgy and let the place Down. It's a shame that they don't offer more local seafood midweek really. The pool was fabulous and we will return again one day.

Room was A1. Food was at times exceptional. But the lasting impression was of wonderful service (with the exception of Great Scots Bar where they obviously hadn't read the script). There are lots of seriously classy places to eat, relax or be at leisure and children are looked after really well but it all cost lots of money. If you count the pennies you won't enjoy it. High praise deserved.

Beautiful hotel in an idyllic location and ideal place to escape from the city. Managed to get a decent room rate and treated the mrs and weren't disappointed. Food, service, spa were all excellent and didn't want to leave!!!!
