My daughter had booked an over night stay for my birthday. The valets on arrival were very friendly and helpful and park our car and took in out luggage, staff at reception were very good it looked busy but there was a lot of them so check in was very swift. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We went to the bar in the afternoon for a glass of wine we waited quite some time to be served and had too ask in the end staff here really let the hotel down . Dinner in the restaurant was was excellent steak cooked to perfection, service here was great. Breakfast was great good selection and again staff were good .

We chose to get married at Cameron House on 25 May 2014 and it was the best decision we made. I don't think I can express in words just how perfect it was. Apart from the obvious things like the beautiful setting at Loch Lomond and the luxurious facilities, we have to say that each and every member of staff that we were fortunate to meet were exceptional and made our whole stay very special. We honestly have no complaints and can't wait until our next stay. We would highly recommend Cameron House not just because of the wedding experience but because it's a fabulous place with fabulous staff.

We stayed here with friends for the weekend, mooring our boat in their marina, and loved it!

Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The setting is dramatic, the grounds are immaculate, the rooms are lovely (randomly on another holiday we have since met the person in charge of the decorating the rooms!) and the concierge couldn't do enough for us. They have very definitely earned their 5 star status.

Being able to hop in and out of our boat all weekend was great and the facilities for changing/showering were excellent (we were all glad of hot showers after a day in the Loch!)

We ate and drank in The Boat House - lovely setting, although service could be a little slow, for no apparent reason (it wasn't busy) and in the main restaurant. Service here was top notch and the food was what you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant - fine dining elegance, and having established it was our friends birthday our waiter organised a surprise in the form of a plate of chocolates with 'happy birthday' piped across the plate, and candles in the chocolates, very sweet of him!

We found all staff (bar the boat house staff) to be very professional and willing - the concierge gave us a tour of the grounds, ran us down to the marina, drove us to our golf at The Carrick and even offered to chill our own bubbly, that we had brought with us to enjoy on our boat.

We didn't get a chance to try the seaplane at £99 per person for approx. an hour, so that is my excuse for planning to come back to stay at this magical place :)

My husband I had the pleasure of staying at Cameron House for his 50th birthday in April. This is the 1st time that we have stayed here and it certainly won't be the last!

Check in was swift and although we were early and not in a rush to get into our room reception took my mobile number and said that they would call me as soon as the room was ready which they duly did.

We spent the afternoon at the Carrick Spa which was a few miles away so we took advantage of the free shuttle service from the hotel. When we arrived back and collected the keys to our room we had been upgraded to a loch view and the hotel had remembered it was my husbands 50th birthday so waiting in the room was a selection of sweets with a lovely birthday card - very nice and welcomed touch.

The bedroom was very comfortable and absolutely spotless. Much to my husbands delight the full sky package was also available in the bedroom so he didn't miss any of the golf that he had been following before our trip!

The staff at this hotel are all exceptionally friendly and this coupled with the wonderful setting really does make this hotel breath taking. At any opportunity the staff are always willing to help from collecting your car, arranging your luggage and personally walking us to the bar rather than giving a list of directions.

I would also say that we travelled here having purchased an ITISON voucher but contrary to previous reviews we were treated exactly like any other guest in the hotel and this hotel has now won a new customer - we are already planning our next stay!

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. For me is the perfect place to escape from the stress of living and working in glasgow. The hotel grounds are amazing and right on the banks of Loch Lomond and rooms are modern. Staff are friendly and there are plenty things to do. Only gripe is food and drink is very pricey but then Cameron house is 5 star so to be expected.
