Wow what a beautiful, quite, peaceful place. We stayed for two nights for my 30th birthday and used it as base for discovering loch lomand etc. what a fabulous place. We loves every minute. Our room was lovely. Breakfast was nice, have a try of the traditional Scottish breakfast. The best thing about our stay was the views of loch lomand and on the first night we had a three course meal there. It was amazing food, especially the scollops and haggis filled chicken. Service was great and the waiter was happy to tell us all about the history of the building. Food was first class and only £30 pp. wine was also very reasonable. The walk to the loch, grounds and garden is beautiful. So much could be done to make the place even better but you I don't think I want it to change because I wouldn't want it to be spoilt by lots of visitors... If we lived in not land we would have chosen this place as our wedding venue. Just a few mina glitches, it would have had even better to have had some back ground music on during our meal, it was very quite. And the family in the room next to us were very noisy and I had to go tell them to be quite..... But this is no fault of Ross's priory and it's staff. We will defiantly be back - fantastic and very good price.
