Arrived late at night and the external terminal wouldn't accept my UK credit cards so had to ring the bell to speak to the receptionist to check in. The hotel is really a motel with all room doors external. Once in the room, I was rather suprised how small the room was. The bathroom (shower room) is the size you would find in a mobile home (and of an all-in-one plastic moulded construction - which wasn't very clean either). The lighting was extremely poor and it isn't possible to work in the room - and there is no phone (although there is free wifi). Breakfast consists of a few rolls, toast or pieces of french bread with jam and percolated coffee. There is also orange juice a yoghurts but nothing cooked - and not even croissant (which seem mandatory in France everywhere else).
Finally, the need for earplugs. This is because there is a railway (more like a goods shunting yard) barely 25m from the rear of the building - so expect to hear the first train rattle the room door at about 5am and every ten mins thereafter. It only costs 40 Euros - you barely get what you pay for.More
