This wonderful hotel is in a peaceful setting on the outskirts of a rural village. We were greeted in a friendly manner with a welcoming complementary cup of coffee. The building, an old convent, has been beautiful restored. We stayed two nights, eating outside in the lovely gardens each night and welcomed into the eating area with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The food was good. Just two things spoilt our stay - 1). the rooms had very creaky floorboards so when everyone was moving around (even in the night), it was rather irritating 2). noisy people leaving the restaurant late at night could easily be heard as they passed through the accoustic central hallway and outside into the street.
