“A nice place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Car needed.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

The rooms are big, new, very clean and comfortable with wifi, minibar and flat screen TV . You do need a car to use this place, but it is worth the detour. The owner is so kind and friendly, that it sometimes becomes embarrassing. I really mean that. It's hard to refuse when, at breakfast and already satisfied, unasked for, he suddenly comes out of a kitchen with some melon and prosciutto and brings it to your table instead of putting it on the buffet. He served us something new every day, each time unasked for and when you already had your stomach full. It would be better if he asked at the beginning of breakfast, instead of just bringing it to the table. Also, he gave us the rest of the pastries to take away. Again it was hard to refuse and too much, resulting in us having to throw it away at the end of the day. Also, he hardly speaks any English or other language apart from Italian, making communicating difficult. Too friendly is indeed possible, sometimes even pushy in this case. I still highly recommend it, especially if you speak some Italian, but don't come here if you prefer to be an anonymous customer in a big hotel.

Room Tip: I think all rooms are big enough. I wouldn't pay extra for a "suite".

Spent one night here on my way to Verona Airport and could not have picked a better place to stay. A friendly welcome was given on arrival with wine plus cheese and biscuits provided.

The room I was allocated was delightful, large and comfortable with plenty of hot water when I had a shower. Despite being near the airport I was not disturbed by noise at all and a good night's sleep was had.

The breakfast was to die for, it never stopped coming with delicious fresh pastries, bread, home made jam, yogurt, peaches and fresh pressed fruit juice.

A friend of mine from Verona booked this place for me. You would never expect such a great place in the middle of nowhere, near Verona airport. Great rooms with luxury bathrooms. Just fantastic. Super-friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Just make sure you have a car to explore the area.

We stayed at this B&B on the way to France. I wasn't too sure what to expect as it was simply a stopover. But, wow! We pulled up, and we both loved the architecture of this place, the smell of freshly cut grass, the beautiful flowers, and the very warm smile of Mama. She welcomed us with open arms, fresh apple juice (organic of course) and her home-baked cookies. We were taken to our room (after my husband took a great picture of the outside as the lighting was perfect). The room was divine - squeaky clean with new solid wood furnishings. They had a cot in there, already set up for our baby.

It was a real shame that we only had one night.

We went for dinner at a local restaurant, recommended by the owner, and it was amazing.

Breakfast in the morning was fresh juice, muesli, pastries, yogurt - organic and also perfect for our baby as it was fresh and preservative free. Cappucino was perfect, luckily as we are coffee snobs.

Highly recommend this place and we hope to go back one day. Excellent value for money.

Thanks to TripAdvisor we came across Ca Giuletta. We were skiing the Dolomites, then spent the day in Venice and needed a place to stay on our way back to the Milan airport. What luck. Giorgio welcomed us with gorgeous local cheese and wine, and gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation nearby (which belongs to his family). We ate like kings. And again the following morning as Giorgio served us perfect cappuccinos, tartines with homemade jams, fresh juice and his mother's apple strudel. Need I say more? If you are in this area, this is a warm and welcoming oasis.

We spent 5 nights here at the beginning of October to tour Lake Garda and it's surroundings. The owner/host is truly the nicest man you could wish to meet. He takes pride in looking after his stunning establishment and sets you up with a superb breakfast daily. He recommends places of interest and never let us down. A truly great break, made all the better by staying here in such great company and surroundings.
One word sums up the food, rooms, service and cleanliness: "perfecto!!"

Room Tip: They are all at a high standard!

We are a couple from Australia and have just spent 5 delightful nights at Ca Giulietta. For us it was a perfect base visiting Verona, Lake Garda, The Valpolicella region, historic villages, museums and parks. Piergiogio, the owner, is the perfect host. He delights in guests discovering the best in local produce, restaurants and scenery. He helped us plan our daily excursions and his recommendations made our stay memorable. His passion for the best extends to his small agriturismo , where the rooms are modern and fresh using crafted woods and fittings.
A great stay.
