Description: Fantastic location in the Village of Arnside on the banks of the Kent Estuary with stunning views and sunsets across the Lakeland Hills. We have a large external seating area, ideal for watching the famous "Bore" and looking over the fells. Traditional British Pub with, award winning service and food, providing table service for fresh food, utilizing local suppliers and produce and featuring daily specials. A Vault Bar with real fire, a minimum of 4 Cask Ales, good quality continental lagers and a well-selected wine list selected by EWGA ltd. Unfortunately we do have limited seating inside for families who are wanting to come for drinks only, as children are not permitted in the Vault Bar.

If the quality of food and price were half as attractive as the location this would be a top rated review. But unfortunately from our experience they are not. My wife chose mature cheddar and red onion pie. She said it was rubbish. More like mashed potato with a hint of cheese, she never did find the red onion. I had steak and ale pie which was ok but way overpriced compared with many other establishments we have visited. All I can say about the tea is - glad we had more tea bags with us. I asked if shared tea at £3.75 meant a pot of tea for two and was told that it did. It did come in a large teapot with enough for two or three even but not sure that the tea bag content.was proportionate and suitable for more than one. Had a great wedding anniversary spoiled by the lunch. I suppose you pay for the location at the Albion.

Good morning

I am sorry to learn that you were not entirely satisfied with your recent visit.

We take all feedback very seriously and your comments have been passed on to the chefs.

As we are aware guests are particular about the way they prefer their tea, we are more than happy to supply additional hot water or extra Teabags to suit our guests tastes.

If you would like to contact me directly to discuss this further please email; albionmanager@ewga.net

Kind regards

Had a table outside and took in the great view.
Staff are attentive and we enjoyed our food that came out quickly.
Will go back when next in the area and highly recommend you visit.

Dined at The Albion a few times last week, would definetly reccommend the Sunday roast.Other meals/light bites being tasty also the veiws from the albion make this "must not miss" place. One negative though was after feeling invisable at the bar one night, was told too abruptly that they were to busy and would be taking no more food orders that night, think it could have been handled with a bit more tact.
