We spotted this restaurant first time by walking by the port. It was busy but we tried to get a table. Unfortunately we were told it was fully booked and reserved for the evening. Same story the day after so we decided to book ourselves a table for the following day too. It was surely a good sign to need to reserve.
We were not disappointed when we finally managed to enjoy a meal there. The service was attentive and of excellent quality. They were very accommodating to our 6 years old son. Ludo, the owner took some time to have a chat with us and apologised about the difficulty to book a table.
We didn't choose a child menu for our son and we all enjoyed some fresh fish instead. It was by far the most exquisite we had during these holidays. The whole dinner was excellent and reasonably priced too.
At the end of the evening, we asked Ludo if we could book a table again for our last evening in town. The second dinner was as good as the first one and somehow we felt sorry we didn't see the place before or think about making a reservation earlier.
We can't think of any of the course we didn't enjoy and we have tried quite a few over 2 meals
We will definitely know where to go first next time we visit Valras.
