I can only re-iterate what everyone else has said! This was our first All Inclusive Holiday and what a great experience it was! The staff were superb - constantly making sure you had all you wanted and also working hard to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had a smile and a cheery word.
As someone who does not drink alcohol I felt I did not gain full advantage of this part of the package, but there were plenty of soft drinks on offer as well as tea, coffee and water all day long. You could also help yourself to ice cream in the bar area which was much more in my line as I love Italian ice cream. You could also help yourself to nuts, olives, cheese, coconut, savoury biscuits, pizza and various other nibbles during the bar opening hours of 10am - 12.00 pm.
The variety and amount of food available at each meal was amazing. There was always fish, meat and vegetarian options and if you felt like it you could have the lot! Prepare to feel bloated by the end of your holiday.
The shuttle bus to Sorrento was efficiently run. We had to book it in advance and also book the time we wanted to return.
As we booked a last minute (reduced cost) holiday we had a room at the back of the hotel which looked onto the street. This was OK for us as we don't want to spend time in a room except for sleeping. It was a large room, well furnished, with a jaccusi bath. There was a bit of early morning noise - bin collections and deliveries - but not enough to bother us.
We would definitely go there again, probably for a bit longer than a week. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Room Tip: Front rooms overlook the sea. Back rooms look onto the street.

Clean and comfortable hotel located on the beach with great sea views. Food is very good and it was really nice to have waiter service for main courses. The all-inclusive bar includes high quality drinks and not the watered down beers and wines one usually experiences in other hotels. The hotel is out of Sorrento town but is on the beach (although beach is stony) and there are hotel sun beds on the beach. The service from the beach/pool staff was amazing as they kept constantly bringing us cold water, beers and soft drinks without asking, they will also fetch drinks from the bar for you. Absolutely brilliant. As we were out sightseeing everyday we only had the odd 1/2 day sunbathing but there were always sunbeds available. Guests do have to get the free shuttle into Sorrento town but , be aware, that it does not run between 12 and 3om or between 6 and 10pm. Do not book any of the tour operators trips. They are incredibly expensive. For Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum get the shuttle bus to Meta station, buy a train ticket (4euros return), and pay at the gate to get into Pompeii 5.50 euros as we are teachers so half price. We booked with Thomas Cook and were stunned when a thomson rep disturbed us whilst we were quietly eating breakfast and told us to enjoy our day but not to be so noisy when we are around the pool. As we were out everyday, and when we were in the hotel we sat on the beach We will assume mistaken identity but incredibly rude! The hotel is very quiet and there is nowhere to walk to in the evening, but we enjoyed a bottle of prosecco and the sunsets (quietly I hasten to add!).

Room Tip: Nearly all rooms are sea view but do check when booking. Some have jacuzzis so ask for this if that is what you want. Ignore the incredibly rude Thomson rep. who obviously doesn't know her clients.

Fabulous week in Italy, we didn't have a balcony but how much time do you spend in the room there was an upgrade but at a cost.beautiful private beach with sunbeds, excellent food, all staff were very helpful and friendly, courtesy bus to Sorrento which was great. We walked into meta which was well worth a visit, all in all a fan week. Met some great people we would go back tomorrow

This hotel is fabulous, as are the staff. The reception area is so beautiful and you'll find white marble almost everywhere else. Rooms are beautiful and kept spotless (some with double Jacuzzis). We found all the staff so so helpful and friendly. We had the misfortune to have late delivery of one of our suitcases (4 days into a 7 day holiday) and the Reception staff offered us absolutely anything that we might be short of, so helpful, also chasing our case ringing the airport whenever possible. We had a few more problems with excursions and they also helped sort problems out for us, excellent. The food is something else ....... fabulous buffet, followed by starter, main course and pud. We thought the buffet was "it" but were told that this was just an "appetizer"! Be prepared to gain weight! The all inclusive is just that, from 10am to 12 midnight, including cocktails. Christian and his staff are superb, always seems to remember what you prefer to drink, and very very attentive. There's a small beach specifically for the hotel, shame it's not sandy, but at least there's no payment needed for sun-beds. The shuttle bus to Sorrento is really handy and the last one returns quite late into the evening. Best day out is definitely the Amalfi drive ~ superb scenery, but it is a "roller-coaster ride" as our Tour Guide told us! It's against the law for coaches to reverse on these roads ..... you will see why! Italy is absolutely beautiful and we would definitely go back to the Alimuri. I only visited the Spa on the last day and wish I had discovered it earlier, really has the wow factor. Fabulous, many thanks to all the staff.

Room Tip: Perhaps mention the Jacuzzi = and a sea-view is always good. If you leave the patio windows open you can hear the sea lapping up onto the beach as you fall asleep ..... bliss!

just returned from a weeks break at this hotel, was very impressed with the hotel which is very nice, we had a sea view and it was amazing, hearing the waves from our room, hotel very clean and staff brilliant, food was great best I've ever had, and the meal in the evening exceptional as have choice from vast menu every evening on an all inclusive deal, is served in silver platter. staff the especially stood out as being very helpful were, Fanko bruno the life guard who worked the beach and pool, doesn't stop all day serving drinks and just making sure everyone happy, you didn't even have to ask as soon as your drink gone he was there skiing if you needed anything, absolutely brilliant, a credit to the hotel, and Valentiono who worked the evening bar again really good. would certainly return....

Room Tip: sea view is best we had room 234 brilliant with large bathroom.
