I stayed here as part of a tour group from Ilios Travel. We arrived on a damp cold evening and were welcomed with roaring log fires and the ambience of a Scottish country lodge. We loved our cottage rooms and such a treat to have a working fire in the bedroom. We liked the little touches at Hunter's. The welcome by Jacques, the chat with Tammy, the sweets at the bedside and the daily philosophy scroll. What a wonderful idea to include a lemon and a knife on the mini-bar !
Our group sampled the craft gins in the lounge and enjoyed superb meals in our private dining area. Breakfasts were freshly cooked to order and very good too.
Our only regrets were the cold wet weather and not enough time to enjoy the facilities. I also think that the outdoor seating area would be better without the constant music.
I did go up to Tsala Treetop Lodges and had a little tour around and was very impressed by this even more luxurious property. All in all a lovely place to stay.More
