We stayed in the modest Rondini double room for one night on our way through the Piedmont Vineyards. Our "included balcony" was the one off the common sitting room across from the stairs and not part of our room itself; the window in the room actually faced the square, where there is public parking. (It looks as though the rooms upstairs have their own balconies.) Our room included wifi (there is also a laptop in the sitting area), suitcase racks, open closet with a cotton curtain, two robes, two towels, various amenities in the toilet room, shower, sink, and breakfast. The hostess is very friendly and provided us with a snack and some local wine after we arrived. Neive (at the top of a hill) is very small and there are lovely views over the vineyards. The B&B is around the corner from several restaurants, where we dined that night. Breakfast is in the small bar at the entrance to the B&B and was a bit unusual: coffee, yogurt, pastry, ham and cheese sandwich, apple cake, and cheese with ham on baguette slices.
Among other observations, we found no signs to the B&B and asked a person at a cafe in Neive where to locate it. Look for the sign for the bar! In the room, there was a pair of earplugs (only one pair) on the small table by the bed, presumably to deal with late evening or early morning noise, especially from motorcycles. We closed the shutters in the evening. The small shower took about five minutes for the water to get hot and the basin did not drain well. By the time the water was hot, the basin had an inch or so of water in it, making it very unpleasant to shower. The robes and towels need to be replaced or otherwise made more comfortable to use. Although made of cotton, they were coarse and felt as though they had been dried continually on a very hot line to make them so scratchy. There are other hotels in the area if B&Bs are not your style. Based on our experience, this is a very simple, basic B&B.

Room Tip: If you want an included balcony, do not take the Rondini room. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage.

Name of this B& B should be Dimora San Sebastiano
This B & B is nicely decorated & clean in the lovely small town- Neive. Location is good, can walk to several nice wine bar & restaurants.
Have a sitting room that frineds can relax & chat in the evening. Top floor with a balcony that has very good view.
Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice , homemade yogurt, fresh bakery, ham& cheese toast are great.
Owner is friendly & offer free pick up to/from train station.
Highly recommend & will return.

Room Tip: Rooms look exactly the same as on the picture. All are great.

I had the pleasure of staying here early January, 2013. It was just what I needed, something clean, quiet and close to my local tour guides Leslie and Robert Alexander. The breakfast served down in their cafe is A+. Owners are a husband and wife team the B&B is well maintained.
Thank you for a very pleasant stay. I will return.
