The setting of this hotel is nice, but be prepared that you need a car. This hotel is nice, comfortable with a great staff of people (primarily family) who tend to your every need. Unfortunately, I didn't get a room with a Trulli roof line. I had a charming room (103), but it was a flat roof. The weather was rainy and cool, and at times the room felt chilled. Thankfully there were additional blankets I could use on the bed. The bathroom was adequate, but I never felt warm. The breakfasts were adequate, nothing fancy. I think if I was to come to this region again, I'd prefer to be somewhere that I could walk out and have dinner in the town. This is a great place if you want to stay away from the crowds or are prepared to eat in their restaurant. Otherwise you will need to be driving in the dark from town to town. Thankfully we had a driver who drove us, but that gets expensive.

Room Tip: Ask for a trulli roofed room

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sad that you couldn't enjoy everything at our resort. It motivates us to do even better. We hope that you will have better weather when you stay in Puglia another time.

Best regards Mino and the Abate Team

We stayed at the masseria in late October. The weather was still incredible and we couldn't have been better cared for or stayed in a more beautiful setting. Cristina, Mino and every single person we interacted were so kind and generous with their time and knowledge. The food is stunning, with home made products (especially beautiful cheeses) for breakfast. Dinners are works of love and delight all the senses. The masseria is beautifully restored and the lushness of the vegetation connects you to the land and the goodness it provides.

There is heart and soul here accompanied by attention to detail and boundless beauty. Don't hesitate...just go.

Room Tip: All the accommodations are beautiful, the Trullo works of art.

We ended a month's stay in southern Italy with a marvelous week at this superb masseria. We arrived in late October just before the resort closes for the season. The weather was marvelous, the hospitality most gracious, and the week went by far too quickly. What strikes the visitor immediately are the lush fruit trees, particularly the pomegranates. My wife indulged her passion for the ripe and delicious ones on every tree. We opted for a smaller room and found it more than sufficient, with a clean bathroom, comfortable bed and an intriguing "il briale" (an Italian common serving dish) on the wall. Meno, Rosanna and Angelica welcomed us, provided information on the area, cultural events (tickets for an event in Bari required Meno's intervention to secure, but his directions made the trip an easy one) and the particular charms of Puglia, and responded to our requests for hot water, tea, etc. Colazione is served in the adjoining restaurant and boasts a buffet of fruit, meat, cheese, yoghurt and, best of all, daily pastries made by the owner. Marco took excellent care of us during meals and was a great source of information about Noci and Italians.I discovered the pleasures of "piscina" (the swimming pool) and Abate boasts a large and beautiful example. Although it was late October and the water temperature a chilly 18 degrees Celsius, I enjoyed a refreshing swim every day. Noci proved to be an excellent location for day visits throughout the area, and recommendations for services in Noci (particularly the Giusy Staff beauty salon) made my wife want a return visit sooner rather than later. Investing in a GPS introduced us to numerous back roads but always got us to where we wanted to go. We look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: All of the rooms were excellent. You might want to choose one farther from the restaurant, but that...

Ideally located to explore the Unesco World Heritage of the Ittria Valley with its Trulli, Abate Masseria Resort is a rustic but stylish country retreat overlooking olive groves, just outside the little town of Noci. We had a room in an actual Trullo, so enjoyed that unique building style every day. Breakfast is buffet style, the restaurant serves Italian food in solid quality and ample amounts, the wines never disappointed.
Rooms, pool and restaurant were immaculately clean and well appointed. The service is friendly and effective, we got an extremely warm welcome in the family run Abate resort.
We made ample use of the hotel's free bikes and pedaled through the surrounding countryside.
Will come back soon!

We made the booking directly with the Resort and the staff was extremely helpful from the start of the booking and our entire stay. They went out of their way to accommodate all of our wishes. The restaurant was also very charming and the food exceptionally good. We were there for 9 nights. We were there on vacation and found it convenient to many small towns in the area which we visited daily.

Room Tip: We were in a trulli suite -Room 105 which is a 2 bedroom and stands alone.

If you are in Puglia and near Noci, go here for the antipasti, it is amongst the best I have ever had. We have been here twice and stayed in the trullo once. It is a luxurious stay with a delightful pool and trulli set amongst the walnut and other fruit and nut trees. Apuglia speaks for itself, the region is a gastronomic powerhouse and it is difficult to eat badly, but the antipasti we had here for lunch was out of this world. Plate after plate after plate of unbelievably mouth watering food. Go here.

We trulli enjoyed our stay at this wonderful trullo with a pool, delicious breakfast and most of all a traditional style trullo. Our apartment consisted of a living room, bedroom and bathroom, each inside it's own trullo. The service was excellent. They even installed WiFi in our apartment, especially for us, as the connection was quite poor through the stone walls. Overall, we were very pleased with our rooms! It was very romantic on the roof that was well protected from stepping up to with a very heavy plant pot at the bottom step that we managed to first climb over and then move. Still don't know why the moon was traversing quickly across the sky as we watched from the roof...
