“So nice!!!!”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

If you want to lose some weight, this is NOT the place to go. Paola and her staff make a breakfast that will get you through the day easily. There's a choice of bread, cereal, cheese, cold cuts, frsh fruits (figs, and other fruits from the property) but also 10 different home-made cakes, 14 kinds of home made cookies, panna cotta, tiramisu, and on some days even ice cream - also home made of course. And then I would almost forget to mention the "eggs a la Inez"! If you ask for tomatoes, they run to the palazzo to get tomatoes, and you will have them 5 minutes later! Breakfast at Astolfi is the best I've ever had anywhere.....

But the rest of the agriturismo is also close to perfect. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, with an own fridge. Some rooms have a little kitchen, others don't.
The pool is big and clean, in the afternoon they serve some snacks and/or fruit, and some water. The view from the pool is amazing, over the coastal area.
And then there's always Paola and her family who make you feel welcome.
We've been here four times now, and will certainly come back.

The location is excellent: just 15km away from the seaside, on the top of a cliff with a magnificent view over the Romagna area. The breakfast was amazing (a big table full of bio food of any kind, e.g. ham, eggs, cheese, bread, fresh fruit and juices, several incredible cakes, etc etc). There is a wonderful swimmingpool - we spent the whole day there.
The service was ok, although the landlady is quite boring and not very nice: she does not smile to customers (as she should!) and instead is always ready to give silly suggestions such as "don't do this, don't leave the place with the key in your pocket, park here, don't park there ...".
Despite her, a wonderful place to stay!

Absolutely a hidden gem. The property sits a top a hill among wine groves and fruit tress overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the distance. The room was spotless and big enough for our family of 5. Each morning we anxiously went the the main house to feast on fresh bake goods, fresh fruit juice and cook to order eggs. After a morning of touring we returned to swim in the beautiful pool and nap in the hammocks. In June the grounds were in full bloom. I look forward to the day I can return.

The Palazzo Astolfi is an authentic agriturismo set in a grove of fruit trees and flowers. It has a large patio with a scenic overview of the area. We did not want to be in the middle of the crowds, and this was in a small village, Poggio Berni. The property includes the owner's villa and another restored house for guests. Breakfast included fresh fruits and a large variety of other foods. I believe that the property has been in the family for a while. The rooms were restored with furniture that fit the atmosphere. There are two gates to the property and it is a little confusing, but you can ring the gate and they will come and get you.
