Went with friends, on a power trip to Cape Town. Lovely venue, average but good food, good service. However, lunch is served from 12 noon, arrived at 13:00, toilets were already dirty, nappies all over the place, as the toilets only have small waste paper baskets, although play flacitities etc clearly show they cater for young families ( and there were many). By 16:00 it was in a worse filthy state, no clean up seems to have been done at any time. Owner was there, making sure that food and wine were served and patrons were well attended to, so it as mystery why rest rooms were not at all in her visor. Nope, prices are upmarket, venue is upmarket, such lack of attention to the rest rooms is nothing but an insult to the clientele, who definitely are used to better ablution facilities at their own homes.
