Stayed here overnight in an ocean view room. This is a real view, not a filtered view
Check in seamless and pleasant. Breakfast sensational and lunch in the bar was beautiful. Dinner in the lounge was also excellent. Lovely rooms. Comfy bed but for our liking maybe the mattress was slightly firm but that's just being picky. One thing...there is no track providing beach access from the resort

Room Tip: get a ocean .'mview room. You are at the ocean!

Dear kanga_tina

Thank you for your review and I am delighted that you enjoyed our fantastic ocean views. We take great pride in the team that we have here at RACV Cape Schanck Resort and will be sure to pass your kind words along.

Next time that you stay, be sure to ask our reception staff about the private bathing options available at Peninsula Hot Springs – or even the tranquil Spa Dreaming Centre.

Kind regards
Conleth Roche

We stayed in an Ocean View room in early July. The room was very comfortable and the views were great.

The staff were all extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant was good quality. The Sunday night Carvery and Buffet breakfast were definitely the highlight.

Even though we didn't play golf the course looked very inviting. It was an extremely relaxing weekend and we would definitely stay there again.

We finished with the Peninsula Hot Springs on our way home and although we felt great afterwards and enjoyed our time there it was extremely crowded and not as relaxing as I would have expected. It is worth a try but I doubt I would go again.

We stayed at this resort in June 2014. It was a fabulous stay and ideal for our small and young family. The resort and resturant are lovely. The peninsula has an enormous number of activities and places to explore. We will be back!

The only downside is that the resort is a little far from the action however this also adds to its charm. Views of the southern ocean are magical. Great location for a weekend getaway from Melbourne, and if your a keen golfer a fabulous course.

My daughter and I stayed one night during the week. Excellent service at check-in, restaurant for dinner & breakfast was top quality, our Premium Ocean View room was beautifully presented and then again at check-out we had very polite service. Have already stayed here before with friends and will definitely be staying again. Only a few minutes drive to the hot pools which was great. Thanks for such a wonderful time.

Room Tip: Choose a Premier Ocean View Upstairs room. The views are beautiful.

We spent 3 nights in an Ocean View Executive Suite, with another couple of friends. Very comfortable 2 bedroom suite, with great views of the ocean from large glass windows and 3 balconies. The bedrooms were on different levels, providing enough privacy, with the common areas great to get together. The restaurant was fabulous, serving a full buffet breakfast each morning, and equipped with a fantastic juicer that enabled you to make your own juice with fruit, celery, beetroot, and carrots. The seafood platter for 2 on Friday night was superb.
The golf course appeared to be in excellent condition, with very undulating areas surrounding the greens, and bunkers providing additional challenge. We didn't play, but I am advised one needs a cart to get around. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

I surprised my fiancée for his birthday with a pamper package via the RACV Cape Schank resort. This included a night in the premium ocean view room and a day at the Peninsula Hot Springs, including a massage.
The location is breathtaking and serene. The views were incredibly beautiful. The room was very clean and well maintained, and comfortable. The manger agreed to a bottle of wine on arrival.
I cannot stop speaking about how divine the food at the restaurant was, both at dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, helpful and down to earth. They made us smile the entire time that we were there.
Late check out at 11am was a bonus also. There are wonderful facilities for guests including a pool, spa and recreation area.
We are now planning to have our wedding at this incredible venue.

Golf course looked good but didn't get a a chance to play was was there for a 2 day conference for work. Facilities are good , a little dated however it has a certain charm about it. The Villas are nice , i was in a 7 person villa and we all had a good nights sleep. Took us a while to find the place as the grounds are sparse and there was not much street lighting at night. nevertheless it was a good stay and i would stay again with my wife for a weekend getaway.

Room Tip: If your'e going up for a golf weekender then book a villa close to the clubrooms.

Thanks so much for your feedback DaHoneymoonerz – its always great to hear from those who have enjoyed their stay during a conference. Sounds like perhaps you’ll need to return for a golfing trip ! RACV members save on both golf and accommodation, and six golfers can “Stay & Play” from just $115 per night. Or you could take advantage of our winter specials and treat your wife to a stay at Cape Schanck, spending your days relaxing, wining and dining. Winter is a fantastic time to spend on the Mornington Peninsula and we hope that you can be a part of it.

Best Regards
