This restaurant is absolutely our favorite for taste, price, service, decor, and location.
The freshness of the ingredients and subtle comparison of tastes leaves me (us) in
awe. It never fails that we have to inquire about some of the surprises, like today. There
were simple slices of daikon, but they turned out to be two kinds and a mountain potato. I
drool remembering the meal (lunch 2nd price). The staff remembers us and is always
smiling, but not intrusive, and patient with knowledgeable explanations. Desert.... oh my.
A walk in Inokashira Park before or after a meal sets both the stage and the memory.
But if you have a little more time, stroll around the Kichijoji station food shops and
streets filled with amazing sights, sounds, and fragrances. I never tire of visiting and
talking about this area. Enjoy.
