Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed overnight in a spotlessly clean room. We were 5 cyclists arriving after a day of rain. Andrea has good English and put the bikes in the large garage. The food available was good and very filling and the beer took the pain away from our legs. The breakfast buffet was delicious. But the main thing about it was how friendly Andrea and her husband/partner were.

Dinner here was fantastic! The food was fabulous and also authentic. Outdoor dining was delightful. The island was awesome - very unique. Wish we’d have known to stay at this hotel for our work. It’s absolutely beautiful. And, the owner is super friendly and truly cares about his guests.

The hotel's restaurant has a service like a company's canteen: fast, basic and factory like. Food was fresh and well prepared but almost tasteless and really fatty. Unfortunately you have to pay like 5 Stars plus for this service and food. Noone asked us about our experience and satisfaction. We haven't heard any one say "goodbye" or "see you next time" (in German, we're german speakers). There will be no next time for us.

Was lucky to get chance to stay at this Hotel on recent trip to Germany. Biergarten is a great spot with views over the lake and monastery. Not every day to get to stay at one of the oldest Gasthofs in Germany (over 600 years.) Service was great and the rooms have been recently renovated. Worth a visit if staying over night or just visiting on day trip.

Tried to get something to eat and drink there but we were ignored and no one even tried to come close. No chance to order anything. Went to the loo instead which is very clean and posh as the restaurant in the inside of the building. In the meantime still no service and still being ignored by the waiters and waitresses. When we left someone thanked us for our attendance. Did they mix us up with the last guest which sat at our table before us? In the end we went to a different restaurant which was excellent (Service, food and drinks)
