“Came by this monument by chance”

Excellent talk by well knowledged staff, passionate and caring. Tour guide took time to check that the 20+ people in our group could ask questions, hear what was being said and even asked if we minded if she kept her sunglasses on whilst she spoke to us.
Had not planned to visit, but so glad we did. Learnt a whole lot more about trench warfare.
The monument itself is amazing.
One staff member even helped me with directions to the nearby La Tagette British Cemetery in Neuville-St-Vaast, where we had been heading.

“Wonderful and moving”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 via mobile

We visited here last week on a beautiful, sunny day. It's a fantastic memorial in an incredible place and is well worth a visit. One of our party was taken to the memorial in a golf buggy and the Canadian guide who took her was wonderfully helpful (Sylvie she thinks - thank you!).

“Takes your breath away”

We visited here last week with our sons, 3 & 6. Our 6 year old was amazed by site and the trenches at the visitors centre. The sheer size of the memorial is breathtaking and the setting is beautiful, a wonderful and poignant memorial to the battle of Vimy Ridge. You can see the memorial from miles away and is well worth a trip if you are in the area.

“Well worth visiting”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

An easy stop off if travelling from Calais to Paris or the South of France. And well worth it. Great guides can show you the underground supply tunnels and talk about the preserved trenches. And the Vimy memorial is an amzing piece of architecture and inspiring

“One of the best”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

Very informative and well laid out. The staff was wonderful. I contacted them before leaving Canada. The response I received to my travel/logistics questions was right on and I felt at ease as I followed the directions from Paris they provided

My teenaged nephew listened carefully to the images that our tour guide painted for us. His history lessons came to life. Our guide was obviously knowledgable and her talk therefore came across as fresh and exciting as opposed to rehearsed

The train ride from Paris was quick and simple. The excursion is an easy day trip that I would encourage all, and in particular Canadian students, to make. Be sure to spend sometime in the picturesque town square at Arras. We enjoyed an tasty and reasonable dinner at a pub there
