“One not to be missed!”
Reviewed 3 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I took a 12 day booking with my partner at Kinder Path Cottage (KPC). Before booking I had some questions to put to the Owner, Gill C, and these were all answered very very promptly, courteously and informatively. Post booking, some other questions were answered in the same way.

On arrival at KPC - what an absolute delight! Sparkling clean, beautifully equipped and exactly as described and pictured. We had arranged to meet with Gill an hour or so after our arrival and were pleased to be 'shown the ropes' and quickly settled in. There was a lovely bowl of fruit, a bottle of milk and no shortage of the usual materials/condiments for a brew etc.

Hayfield and its environment are beautiful (Great care on village roads essential).

Would we go again to this let? You bet!

Liked best: Location, Decent shopping even on Sunday's. Plentiful eating places. Privacy. I could go on!
Liked least: Complicated heating controls. Needs a simple 'stat for when we were in and when we were out.

“Perfect stay in a perfect cottage”
Reviewed 6 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed for four nights with our young son. Gill the owner was extremely accommodating of our needs, right down to the smallest detail of leaving books for our son. She met us to ensure we were all set up okay, letting us know where all the appropriate facilities were. The cottage itself is beautiful and finished to the highest standards. There are lots of little touches that just make this the perfect cottage in the perfect location!

“Lovely cottage”

We stayed here for 4 nights while we did some hillwalking. The cottage was easy to find and is near the pubs and restaurants in Hayfield village. Gill, the owner, took the time to come and meet us in the cottage and was a mine of information about where to eat and drink; the best walks and the other attractions in the area.
The cottage was fully equipped with everything that you could wish for. It is tastefully decorated and very modern. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good wifi connection.
If you want to get away for a few days I would highly recommend that you stay at Kinder path cottage and enjoy the beautiful Peak District.

“A beautiful cottage in an excellent position”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed at Kinder path cottage for a weekend in June. I don't think you could ask for anything more from a cottage. It has a lovely mixture of old and new and the property is decorated/equipped to a very high standard throughout. The Wood Burner and Kitchen were particular standout features for us. Excellent walking straight from the front door. We'll definitely be back !

“Excellent cottage”
Reviewed 29 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We (me, my wife and 5 yo daughter) stay for a week at this lovely cottage. All brand new and fully equipped with all stuff you need. Like bring your home to different place. My daughter love her bedroom... She fell comfortable with her room. The location is very convenient too ... Many walking trails just at door step.
Definitely we're coming back again and I fully recommend it for small family .

“A beautiful well presented cottage in prime location near to the village and with easy access to some fabulous walking.”
Reviewed 15 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We were delighted with this cottage. It blends the old with the new and has been thoughtfully presented to a very high standard and we would definitely go there again.. Hayfield is a delightful village and well placed for walking with various routes easily accessible from the cottage. Also the village centre is only a few minutes walk away with a delightful tea rooms and several pubs, a butcher and couple of general stores. We toured the area during our stay but decided we had been very fortunate with our choice and would definitely return.
