What a superb tearoom. All homemade produce, with such friendly welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. They had a quiche on the special board the day we visited, it looked really appetising and what can I say it more than fulfilled my expectations, and served with a well presented salad. I barely had room for a desert but it was a must for the Lemon Meringue Pie. My husband had a Panini and a decided to go for a piece of Bakewell Tart, they both tasted and looked as good as mine. Our eyes were certainly larger than our stomachs, we decided to take away some malteser crunch and caramel shortbread to have on our hike up the hills to the lovely Semmer Water. There is plenty of parking, with seating inside and out. Fantastic location for Tour De France - it passes straight through this little village, it's definitely where we will be stopping to watch the big race on Saturday 5th July.
