My partner and I stayed at the Yorebridge on the 24th February as a treat for her birthday. We were given a fantastic personal welcome on arrival with a tour of the restaurant, bar etc.
We had the Rahmoune room with an outdoor hot tub. The room was spacious with a gorgeous Moroccan theme. The hot tub area was fantastic with views over the dales. The room had everything we needed including individual sky tv and tea/coffee and snacks.
The setting of the hotel is right in the heart of the dales with acres of land to explore around it.
We had our evening meal in the hotel's restaurant which has 2 AA rosettes . It was simply fantastic, three courses with a number of additional "treats" in between which left the taste buds tingling! The chefs are extremely talented and handled my allergies superbly.
Overall it was a unforgettable experience and 100% fulfilled the romantic birthday getaway that we hoped for. Thank you to all the team at Yorebridge....we can't wait to come back :-)

I stayed here with my fiancé and this is a belated review. The hotel is in an amazing location; in the centre of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, close to a pretty village and on the banks of a river. Our room (Kariega) was wonderful! We had a door that led straight out to the bank of the river where we had a private terrace leading along the river bank to a private raised patio with a hot tub. From the hot tub we were able to relax and enjoy the view across the river.

The bar and restaurant area were very nice with very helpful and pleasant staff. We ate dinner in the restaurant and were very pleased with the quality of the food and wine. We thoroughly recommend a visit to Yorebridge House!

Luckily, we have had 2 pleasant stays, in different rooms, at Yorebridge. The quality of food and service are excellent and the room was comfortable. Certainly have no difficulties in recommending to friends.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a D, B & B package in February. Yorbridge House is more of a restaurant with rooms than a hotel. The bed was comfortable but otherwise the room was a bit disappointing. Also the modern decor in the lounge/bar areas is quite sterile and therefore not very welcoming. The hotel is extremely well heated, to the point of being stuffy, especially in our bedroom where we couldn't turn off one of the radiators so the heat was quite stifling.

We both had mixed feelings about the food. Judging by reviews by other guests and our own, brief stay, the menu doesn't change much, which is okay if one visits only once or twice. The main courses (fish on the first night and beef filet on the second) were delicious, if a little bit stingy (e.g., one was given only two thin slices of beef filet rather than a decent piece of filet). The starters didn't quite work because the various flavours didn't match each other well enough. However the deserts were good as were the breakfasts.

All in all, this place is okay but not as good as it thinks it is. In other words, it's a bit pretentious but with insufficient justification, especially given the prices. The bar prices are extremely high but I didn't see a tariff anywhere on view.

This Boutique Hotel really is delightful.
I could have stayed for a week!
The hotel has a very relaxing and calming feel to it.
We stayed in the Bainbridge room which was lovely, beautiful décor and a huge bathroom
With free standing bath and walk in double shower. Room facilities were excellent and one very comfortable and very large bed. We slept like king and queen.

We stayed on one of the latest offers which was excellent value.
Our stay included Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, Champagne and handmade Chocolates on arrival.

The evening meal was outstanding. The choices were vast and served beautifully.
Service was very relaxed making the most of the evening, nothing was too rushed, it was perfect.

Breakfast offers plenty of choice for everyone and again was lovely. Local sourced ingredients is a lovely touch and the full English breakfast was very good indeed

I would not hesitate to return in fact can wait to do so there is nothing to fault here.

The hotel is also not too far from Hawes which we visited along with a trip to the Wensleydale Creamery.

Cannot wait to return!

OK, let's start with a few minor (and I really do mean minor) niggles - the bed could and should (although beds are very much personal preference) been a little more comfortable, as we felt the mattress was feeling a little tired. In the bathroom, we noticed that the waste pipe from the bath was visible round to one side and would look a whole lot better if boxed in. Plus, service at breakfast appeared a little disorganised with certain items from our table missing.

Now with those out of the way - book this hotel! Honestly, it is great luxury from the moment you are greeted by the friendly staff through to the cheery goodbye you receive when checking out.

We stayed in "Jasper" which is cosy and contemporary all in one; separate rain-shower and sumptuous bath, full Sky TV, complimentary snacks along with tea and coffee too, basically, there's nothing the Yorebridge hasn't got to offer.

The food, oh the food! It's some of the best we have tasted and the added little surprises thrown in to dinner, such as the parsnip and roasted chestnut soup, are a great tasty touch.

Yes it's expensive, although we did get a nice deal via Secret Escapes, but I've always been told, and believe too, that many times in life you really do get what you pay for and the Yorebridge is a first class example of this!

We'd seen all the reviews on this place so were very much looking forward to a trip for our wedding anniversary. Location is beautful and welcome good.
We had the Nishiki room with hot tub. Hot tub and little garden was amazing and the room and bathroom, huge. Decor was great too. I think missing in terms of our room was a turn down service and little touches like underfloor heating in the bathroom, I don't really like coming in from dinner and seeing bottles/glasses from the afternoon still around and without the underfloor heating the luxurious bathroom seemed cold.
The bar, snug and restaurant were all decorated well and service friendly and very prompt, however service maybe a little too quick. With 6 courses we were finished dinner in an hour and twenty, even trying to take our time. It felt like there was constantly a waiter at the table. Food though was beautiful and I cannot fault one of the courses, 3 of which were an unexpected treat.
All this sounds a little picky but we head somewhere as a treat a couple of times a year and when you spend nearing £400 for a night with dinner and drinks, you expect it to be almost perfect. And this was...almost perfect but not quite.

Room Tip: Nishiki was huge with private hot tub, would recommend.
