Good for: Local cuisine

Description: The restaurant is the perfect place to eat and drink together, for lunch, Sundays and holydays, and for dinner, on unique place for an aperitif accompanied by appettizing preparation.Starting from 18,00 you can taste "torta al testo" bruschette, salumi and also inviting home made past and succulent meats.Smell of old dishes, typical cuisine of the traditional territory.Unmistakable tastes accompanied by a well-stocked wine bar all served in a comfortable and welcoming environment, with a relaxing outdoor space. The right place to spend pleasant moments all to "taste".

Excellent service, the waiter goes out of his way to make customers feel special, the chef comes out to chat to customers which is very nice. Even the music choice (jazz) contributed to a great atmosphere.
The food is excellent, delicious bruschetta (amazing olive oil), great pasta and the meat dishes are huge! We went back in the same week. Don't miss out, try this place if you get a chance.

I've been living in Umbrie for 24 years and therefore know most of the traditional dishes of this region. Specially the Upper Tiber valley. This restaurant has many things that the other restaurants do not have - probably considered too "poor" and not worthy of being proposed in a restaurant (homely stuff....?). The food is really interesting and the environment very cosey and .....homely. The owner is extremely friendly and willing to chat with the clients, if invited to do so - otherwise he's very discrete. He's from Liguria and yet has learnt everything he could about the local cuisine and decided to propose these poor but very genuine and tasty dishes in his restaurant. The prices are decent and worthy of the meal you will enjoy. The restaurant also has a porch for al fresco meals in the warm Umbrian summers. Worth a visit - I've went there three times in two months!!!!

Anna.
