I went to Sant'Agata de'Goti because my family is from there. After arriving by bus, Loredana (owner) picked me up from the bus stop and drove me to the B&B. For the amount you pay, you get a lot. The apartment is attached to her family's house and includes a bedroom with televison (only played dvd's - which they have a lot of!), your own bathroom, a living/dining room with table and couch and a mini fridge, hot plate plus separate sink. Loredana made amazing breakfast for me (traveling alone) - she used to be a chef!...she baked an entire cake from scratch just for me...I was amazed. She took me into town and helped me obtain my great-grandparents marriage certificate and some amazing homemade cheese from "DellaRattas." She then invited me to join her and her family (Enrico and Osmana-their daughter) for lunch. I could not ask for anything more in terms of hosts and nothing beat the experience of this small town. Two words of advice: if you don't speak italian...brush up a little, as this town isn't super touristy, but they are very accomodating...also, I would say try to have a car...Loredana drove me everywhere but I think it would be easier in order to get back and forth from town. Definitely coming here again!

Loredana and Enrico were warm, welcoming and accomodating hosts at this lovely, serene home among the olive trees. Our suite was beautiful, spacious and comfortable and breakfast was elegant and delicious. We are people-people and we could not have asked for better hosts. Loredana generously gave us her time and attention and showed us around the village, making sure we saw great but hidden sights. We felt as if we were visiting friends and hope to return.

Loredona and Enrico are excellent hosts to anyone lucky enough to discover their B&B above the town of Sant' Agata Dei Goti in Compania. They are restoring an old stone house and have one apartment for rent for 23 euros per person, including an excellent breakfast (Loredona cooks at a local a restaurant). The apartment has one good-sized bedroom with a view over the valley; a new bathroom and a dining room/living area. You'll need a car in this area, but it's well worth a a stop, especially on Sundays when there's an outdoor market, and all the shops and restauants in the medieval town center are open. Sentieri Luminosi (Luminous pathway), as their B&B is called, is surrounded by fig and olive trees. A great find!
